Rodriguez allowed five runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out seven across six innings Tuesday. He did not factor into the decision in an eventual win over the Rays.

A pair of runs crossed the plate in the first inning, they were unearned due to two fielding errors. However, Rodriguez became Wander Franco's first victim, as the young phenom blasted a three-run homer in the fifth inning for his first career hit. The 28-year-old's 6.07 ERA and 1.46 WHIP are the highest of his career, and he's 0-4 in his last eight starts. His 10.5 K/9 is about the only thing going right for him currently.

Singer did not factor into the decision during Tuesday's win over the Yankees. He allowed two runs on five hits and five walks while striking out five across 3.2 innings.

After being placed on a pitch count and limited to three innings in his last start due to shoulder tightness, the discomfort did not keep Singer from missing a turn through the rotation or from any workload limitations Tuesday as the right-hander worked up to 91 pitches. Unfortunately it was still another short outing for the 24-year-old after his lack of command racked up a season-worst five free passes against a tough Yankees lineup. Singer will carry a 4.77 ERA and 1.49 WHIP into his next projected start on the road Sunday at Texas.

Cole took a no-decision during Tuesday's loss to the Royals after allowing two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out six across seven innings.

Despite a solid outing, the Yankees bullpen failed hold up and get Cole the win. While the 30-year-old pitched into at least the seventh inning for the seventh time this year, he did issue an uncharacteristically high three free passes. Regardless, his 122 strikeouts through his first 15 starts are the most by any Yankees pitcher in his first 15 starts of the season. Cole will carry a 2.33 ERA and 0.85 WHIP into his next projected outing Sunday at Boston.

Ober gave up four runs on six hits and two walks over 4.1 innings during Tuesday's 10-7 loss to the Reds. He had two strikeouts and didn't factor in the decision.

The 25-year-old only allowed a solo homer to Tucker Barnhart through four frames, but the Reds tagged him for three runs during the fifth inning, prompting his exit. It breaks a run of three strong starts for the right-hander, who'd surrendered just three runs over his previous 13 frames. Ober has a 4.64 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 23:4 K:BB over 21.1 innings this season.

Skubal allowed two runs across 4.2 innings and did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's win over the Cardinals. He gave up four hits and two walks while striking out four.

Skubal needed just one more out to qualify for his fifth win of the season, but the lefty tossed 97 pitches to retire 14 batters, so manager A.J. Hinch decided not to push him any further. The 24-year-old came into Tuesday's start having gone five innings or more in eight straight outings, and even though he was less efficient in this one, he still put the Tigers in a position to grab the victory. Skubal now has a 4.33 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 85 strikeouts across 70.2 innings this season. He lines up to face the Astros in his next scheduled start Sunday.

Giolito allowed two earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out seven across six innings Tuesday against the Pirates. He did not factor into the decision.

Giolito took advantage of the soft matchup to pick up his third consecutive quality start. In that span, he's racked a 23:5 K:BB across 18 innings while surrendering only seven earned runs. Tuesday's start was highlighted by eight flyball outs, and the only major damage Giolito surrendered was a solo home run to Adam Frazier. Overall, Giolito now has a 3.80 ERA with 110 strikeouts across 87.2 frames on the campaign.

Manoah has received a five-game suspension and undisclosed fine for intentionally throwing at Maikel Franco during Saturday's game against Baltimore, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

The league has determined that Manoah purposely hit Franco, though nobody outside the Blue Jays' clubhouse truly knows the right-hander's intentions. Per Keegan Matheson of MLB.com, Manoah will appeal the suspension, and depending on how long the league takes to make a decision, he'll likely still be eligible to make his scheduled Thursday start against the Orioles.

Sale (elbow) threw a bullpen session Tuesday and will face hitters Saturday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Sale had some hiccups over the winter as he worked his way back from Tommy John surgery, dealing with minor neck and back issues as well as COVID-19, but it's been smooth sailing for him for a while now. He still doesn't have a precise timeline for his return, but a rehab assignment in early July seems very possible, given his progress thus far.

Turnbull (forearm) will likely start a throwing program this week. Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

This is positive news for Turnbull, who posted a 2.88 ERA in nine starts before landing on the injured list June 5 with a right forearm strain. Having been sidelined a few weeks, the righty will likely require a rehab assignment after completing the throwing program, so he's still a ways off from returning.

Kopech (hamstring) is expected to throw another bullpen Wednesday and a simulated game Friday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Manager Tony La Russa said the team will "see where he's at" after Friday's simulated game. While the team hasn't yet given a date for his return, Kopech appears to be nearing that point as his throwing progression continues.
