Wells (4-2) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out nine over 5.1 innings to earn the win Sunday over the Giants.

Wells got through five scoreless innings while allowing just four baserunners, but he faded in the sixth. Blake Sabol ended Wells' outing with a two-run home run, but the Orioles' lead was never in danger. The nine strikeouts were a season high for Wells, who picked up his first win in four starts. The right-hander has a 3.29 ERA with an excellent 0.85 WHIP and solid 70:14 K:BB through 12 outings (11 starts) spanning 68.1 innings. Baltimore is using its off day Monday to reset the rotation by skipping the No. 5 spot, so Wells should pitch on normal rest versus the Royals in his next start.

Blackburn did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings against the Marlins. He struck out three.

Blackburn held Miami to two runs through four innings before Garrett Cooper blasted a three-run homer in the fifth. Through his first two starts this season, Blackburn's allowed six runs on 11 hits with a 9:4 K:BB over nine innings and he's still looking for his first win. He's currently scheduled to face the Brewers in his next outing.

Eovaldi (8-2) allowed one hit and struck out seven over six scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday over the Mariners.

Eovaldi was given plenty of support early on and left with a 12-0 lead after six dominant frames. This was the right-hander's fifth scoreless outing of the season, all of which have come in his last seven starts. He's won six times in that span. Eovaldi is at a 2.24 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 77:14 K:BB through 80.1 innings over 12 appearances this season, cementing himself as one of the top pitchers in 2023. His next start is projected to be a tough one on the road versus the Rays.

Miller (3-3) allowed seven runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out two over 2.1 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Mariners.

Miller has now given up 15 runs over his last seven innings spanning two starts. The Rangers were able to pick him apart in the third inning, when he allowed a home run, three doubles and two singles before Gabe Speier worked out of trouble. It's tough to read too much into Miller's sudden struggles -- he's taken care of weaker opponents, but the Yankees and the Rangers are both top-10 offenses for run scoring. The right-hander is now at a 4.46 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 33:5 K:BB through 38.1 innings over seven starts. He's projected for a weekend road start versus the Angels in his next outing.

Kikuchi did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk over five innings against the Mets. He struck out eight.

Kikuchi has allowed two runs in each of his last two starts after pitching to a 7.90 ERA in his previous three outings. Tommy Pham was responsible for both of the runs against Kikuchi on Sunday with a pair of solo homers. The 31-year-old left-hander is 6-2 with a 4.40 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 60:20 K:BB through 12 starts (61.1 innings) this season. He's tentatively lined up to face the Twins at home in his next outing.

Boyd allowed a run on three hits and struck out nine without walking a batter over five innings in a no-decision versus the White Sox on Sunday.

Boyd pitched well, but the Tigers' bullpen couldn't maintain the lead. The three baserunners were a season low, while his nine strikeouts were a season high to make this his sharpest start of the year. It's just the second time he's limited an opponent to one run or less. Boyd has struggled to a 5.57 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 53:22 K:BB through 53.1 innings over 11 starts this year, his first as a starter since 2021. He's projected for a home start versus Arizona in his next outing.

Kopech allowed two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out nine over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Tigers on Sunday.

After a bumpy 10-strikeout effort versus the Angels on Monday, Kopech was back on track with a strong start. He limited the damage to a Spencer Torkelson two-run home run in the fourth inning. This was the third time in his last four starts that Kopech went at least seven innings, and he's had at least nine strikeouts in all of those efforts. For the season, he's at a 4.33 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 79:32 K:BB through 68.2 innings. The right-hander's 4.2 BB/9 is still concerning, but he's shown enough strikeout potential, especially recently, to garner fantasy interest. He's lined up to make his next start at home versus the Marlins.

Manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that Cortes will likely be placed on the injured list with a shoulder injury, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Cortes tossed a season-high 101 pitches Tuesday against the Angels and allowed two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six in five innings to earn the win. However, he wasn't listed as a probable starter for the Yankees during their upcoming series against the White Sox, and he's apparently dealing with a shoulder issue that will force him to miss time. The southpaw will undergo an MRI on Monday or Tuesday to determine the extent of his injury. However, Boone hopes Cortes will miss just two or three starts. It's not yet clear who will take Cortes' place in the rotation.

Houck (3-5) took the loss Sunday, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks over five innings against the Rays. He struck out six.

Houck tied his season high with four walks and allowed at least four runs for the fourth time over his past six starts. The 2017 first-round pick worked primarily out of the bullpen last year but has operated exclusively as a starter to begin this season. While his ERA has ballooned significantly as a starter, he's still posting a similar WHIP and K:BB, which suggests he could turn things around eventually. However, things won't get easier for Houck anytime soon, as his next start is scheduled for the opener of a three-game weekend set at Yankee Stadium.

Bradley (4-2) earned the win Sunday, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks over five innings against the Red Sox. He struck out six.

Bradley allowed two or fewer runs and finished five innings for the fourth time this season. The rookie has made seven appearances across two stints at the big-league level this year, posting a 3.60 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 48:8 K:BB over 35 innings. Bradley figures to remain in the rotation moving forward given the numerous injuries to Tampa Bay's starters. His next start is scheduled for the opener of a three-game weekend set versus the Rangers.
