Kirby took a no-decision after allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings during Monday's 6-2 win over the Red Sox.

Kirby was solid but inefficient, needing 97 pitches (63 strikes) to get through five frames. Monday's game marked just the second time all season Kirby has allowed multiple walks in a start. He had a couple of rough starts in July, but he's still at a 3.43 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 119:14 K:BB through 128.2 innings across 21 starts this season. Kirby is lined up for a road start versus the Angels over the weekend.

Gibson (10-6) yielded one run on four hits and two walks over sx innings Monday, striking out five and earning a win over Toronto.

Gibson tossed four shutout frames before the Blue Jays finally broke through for a run in the fifth inning. He's turned in three consecutive quality starts but he'd given up at least four runs in four of five outings prior to this stretch. Gibson lowered his ERA to 4.53 with a 108:42 K:BB through 133 frames this season. He's currently expected to face the Mets at home this weekend.

Bassitt (10-6) allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings Monday, striking out seven and taking a loss against the Orioles.

Bassitt gave up two runs in the first inning and two more in the third before settling in and tossing three scoreless frames. He was tagged with more than three runs for the first time since June 23 after registering a strong 2.73 ERA in six starts between then and Monday. On the year, Bassitt is sporting a 4.00 ERA and a 125:43 K:BB through 132.2 innings. He's currently expected to start in Boston this weekend.

Glasnow (5-3) earned the win Monday, allowing a run on three hits and two walks over seven innings against the Yankees. He struck out eight.

Glasnow now has eight or more strikeouts in six of his last seven starts while pitching to a 2.08 ERA in that span. The 29-year-old right-hander has returned to elite form after missing the first two months of the season with an oblique injury. Overall, Glasnow's ERA is down to 3.15 with a 1.08 WHIP and 96:22 K:BB across 12 starts (68.2 innings) this season. He's currently lined up for a road matchup with the Tigers this weekend in his next outing.

German (arm) threw five scoreless innings out of the bullpen in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Rays. He gave up two hits and two walks and struck out four in a no-decision.

German was originally scheduled to start Monday, only for the Yankees to scratch him hours before the contest after manager Aaron Boone said the right-hander experienced discomfort in his armpit area Sunday. The Yankees planned to have him visit a doctor shortly before the game, and German was apparently given the green light to work out of the bullpen after starter Jhony Brito was lifted after giving up five runs in four innings. Based on how he fared in relief Monday, German looks to be fully healthy, so he should be ready to return to a traditional starting role when his next turn in the rotation comes up this weekend versus the Astros.

The Reds traded Boyle to the Athletics on Monday in exchange for Sam Moll, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Boyle has struggled since reaching Double-A in 2022, logging a 4.58 ERA and 1.67 WHIP across 110 innings. He strikes out batters at an above-average rate, but his inability to limit walks and runs suggest he still has a long way to go before reaching the big-leagues.

Javier will get pushed back an extra day and will likely take the ball Thursday at Yankee Stadium, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

It's unclear who the Astros will start Wednesday, but apparently they have been pleased with how Javier has responded to pitching with an extra day of rest, so this could be a theme going forward. Javier's worst start of the year came on normal rest July 3 at Texas, and he has received at least an extra day of rest ahead of his three most recent starts, during which he has posted a 4.32 ERA and 1.08 WHIP while striking out 21 in 16.2 innings.

Bradley was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Monday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

The Rays traded for Aaron Civale on Monday, which gives them four starters to use in the short term, not including Bradley. Manager Kevin Cash said Bradley handled the news well and that they hope he'll be back up at some point. Bradley logged a 7.89 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 26 strikeouts in 21.2 innings across five July starts.

Canning was scratched from Monday's start in Atlanta with general soreness, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Chase Silseth will get the ball Monday instead. Canning said his arm has lingering soreness from his most recent start, but he hopes to rejoin the rotation in a couple days.

Manager Aaron Boone said Monday that "all options are on the table" when asked if the Yankees are committed to giving Severino his next start in the rotation, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

If Severino was going to get the ball this weekend against the Astros, it would have been easy for Boone to confirm that when asked directly, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Severino shift to a relief role, especially if the Yankees can trade for a replacement. Either way, given that Severino has allowed 27 earned runs in 21.2 innings over his last five starts, it would be pretty risky to deploy him this week in fantasy.
