Ober did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Royals, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out three.

Both of the earned runs allowed by Ober came on a Jac Caglianone homer in the third inning, the first long ball that the right-hander has given up in his last three starts. Still, it was a strong outing overall for Ober, as he logged his first quality start in his last seven outings. For this season, Ober is 7-3 with a 4.45 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 63:24 K:BB across 16 starts (87 innings). He's tentatively in line to face the Royals again on the road his next time out.

Cameron allowed just one hit and two walks across eight scoreless innings in a no-decision Thursday against the Twins. He struck out seven.

Cameron was nearly perfect Thursday, as he held the Twins without a hit through six innings before Ryan Jeffers led off the seventh with a single. Cameron has now held opponents scoreless in back-to-back starts, allowing just three hits across 13 frames in that span. The southpaw has lowered his ERA to 4.59 across 115.2 innings this season with a 1.34 WHIP and 107:39 K:BB. Cameron will look to keep rolling in his next outing, tentatively scheduled as a rematch with Minnesota next week at home.

McClanahan was pulled from Thursday's start versus the Rangers in the fourth inning with left mid-back tightness, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.

McClanahan hit the leadoff man with a pitch to lead off the top of the fourth inning and then issued a walk to the second batter he saw. At that point, he was visited by the trainer and walked off the field. The Rays had a reliever warming at the start of the inning even though the lefty had thrown three scoreless frames, indicating they knew McClanahan's back had been bothering him. McClanahan was charged with one run on two walks and a strikeout over three-plus innings. The club should have more on the hurler's status after the contest.

Montgomery (elbow) is scheduled to make another rehab start Sunday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Montgomery is sufficiently stretched out after getting his pitch count up to 75 in his last rehab outing, but the Rangers will have the lefty make one more rehab start to iron out the kinks. Working his way back from March 2025 UCL surgery, Montgomery has turned in a 4.74 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 16:2 K:BB in 19 innings across seven rehab starts thus far.

Lopez allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out eight over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Red Sox on Wednesday.

Lopez has allowed four runs (three earned) over 14.2 innings across three starts since he returned to the Athletics' rotation. He threw 63 of 97 pitches for strikes in this outing, which should put to rest any concerns of workload limitations. Lopez has pitched to a 5.79 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 61:42 K:BB through 70 innings over 17 games (14 starts) this season. The southpaw is tentatively projected to make his next start on the road in Cincinnati.

Sandoval allowed two runs on five hits, two walks and a hit batsman while striking out seven over five innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Wednesday.

Sandoval gave up solo home runs to Jonah Heim and Lawrence Butler but otherwise kept the A's off the board. This was the second time in four starts Sandoval has gotten to the five-inning mark as he continues to build up after missing more than two years due to elbow and other arm-related injuries. The southpaw has posted a 3.32 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB through 19 innings so far this season. Sandoval is projected to make his next start at home versus the White Sox.

Hancock (6-5) allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Hancock held his own in a tough matchup, but the Mariners' offense didn't give him much in the way of help. He ended up allowing a total of five runs over 19.2 innings across four games in July, adding a 15:5 K:BB for the month. The right-hander has maintained a 3.26 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 102:27 K:BB through 110.1 innings over 20 starts on the campaign. His name has swirled in trade rumors as a candidate to get moved to clear the Mariners' logjam of starting pitchers, so it's unclear if he'll remain with Seattle past Monday's deadline. If he doesn't get dealt, he's tentatively lined up for a home start versus the Tigers.

Wesneski (1-0) allowed three runs on seven hits, two walks and a hit batsman while striking out four over 5.2 innings to earn the win over the Angels on Wednesday.

Wesneski made his first major-league appearance since May of 2025, completing his recovery from Tommy John surgery. The right-hander showed some rust, but he took advantage of a favorable matchup to get the win while throwing 52 of 79 pitches for strikes. It wouldn't be surprising for Wesneski to operate with a slight workload restriction for a few more starts. He is tentatively lined up for a home start versus the Blue Jays next week.

Rodriguez allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Wednesday.

Rodriguez put together his best outing of the month, but he still allowed multiple home runs, giving up solo shots to Yainer Diaz and Jeremy Pena. He left in line for the win, but the Angels' bullpen failed to protect the lead. Rodriguez remains an inconsistent performer this year -- he's allowed three runs or less in just five of his 10 starts. Overall, he has a 7.98 ERA, 1.75 WHIP and 36:21 K:BB this season, and he's also surrendered nine homers through 44 innings. He's projected to get a look at his former team, the Orioles, in a road start next week.

Schlittler took a no-decision Wednesday against the White Sox, allowing one run on two hits and one walk in 6.1 innings. He struck out eight.

Schlittler was cruising along until the seventh inning, when Andrew Benintendi hit an RBI double to both get the White Sox on the board and chase Schlittler from the hill. The All-Star right-hander added to his breakout campaign with a strong month of July, tossing at least 6.1 innings while yielding two runs or fewer in four of his five starts on the month. Schlittler is set to carry a 2.04 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 165:26 K:BB over 136.2 innings into a favorable home draw against the Cardinals in his next start.
