Atlanta recalled Dodd from Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.
Dodd has bounced back and forth between the majors and Triple-A, and he'll join the big-league bullpen Friday. Dodd hasn't allowed a run in 1.2 innings with Atlanta this season, but he owns a 5.40 ERA across 18.1 innings with Gwinnett.

Rolison will open Friday's game against the Mets, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Rolison will make his first big-league start Friday, but he'll likely only pitch an inning or two before handing the ball off to Antonio Senzatela. In seven appearances this season, Rolison has a 4.50 ERA spanning 10 innings.

Atlanta selected Kimbrel's contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.
Kimbrel is set for his 2025 MLB debut, joining Atlanta's bullpen after logging a 2.45 ERA in 14.2 innings with Gwinnett this season. His role within the bullpen is unclear, but the 37-year-old will look to reclaim his previous form after logging a 5.33 ERA in 2024 with Baltimore.

Orioles' Scott Blewett: Shipped back to O's
Baltimore acquired Blewett from Atlanta on Friday in exchange for cash considerations.
The right-hander was set to be designated for assignment by Atlanta after giving up five earned runs over 1.1 innings Thursday versus Arizona, but he'll instead be sent to the Orioles. Even with that ugly performance, Blewett has a 3.91 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 24:11 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season. He appeared in two games for the Orioles in April before being dealt to Atlanta.

Phillies' Seth Johnson: Sent back down
The Phillies optioned Johnson to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday.
Johnson made his 2025 MLB debut Thursday, allowing one run over two innings. With the Phillies having a bullpen game Friday against Pittsburgh, they'll add a fresh arm to the bullpen in Alan Rangel. Johnson has a 4.91 ERA over 33 innings with Lehigh Valley this season.

The Phillies recalled Rangel from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday.
Rangel will provide some immediate help to the Phillies' bullpen ahead of Friday's bullpen game against the Pirates. He'll be making his MLB debut if he gets into a game. The 27-year-old has a 5.02 ERA in 57.1 innings spanning 12 starts for Lehigh Valley this season. Seth Johnson was optioned in a corresponding move.

Alexander cleared waivers and elected free agency Friday, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
The Brewers designated Alexander for assignment Sunday, and the veteran will look to continue his MLB career elsewhere. The 30-year-old appeared in 21 games for the Brewers, logging a 6.19 ERA over 36.1 innings. He hasn't posted an ERA under 4.50 since 2021.

The Twins optioned Funderburk to Triple-A St. Paul on Friday.
Funderburk made seven appearances during his latest big-league stint but posted a poor 9.00 ERA and a 4:4 K:BB over eight innings. His spot on the 26-man roster will go to Travis Adams, who can provide the Twins' pitching staff with more length.

The Twins recalled Adams from Triple-A St. Paul on Friday.
Adams has tallied a 3.43 ERA and a 37:10 K:BB over 42 innings mainly as a bulk reliever with St. Paul, and he'll join the big-league club Friday. With Pablo Lopez (shoulder) on the IL and David Festa having a bumpy return to the majors Thursday, there's a path for Adams to make some starts for the Twins, though he'll initially pitch out of the bullpen. Kody Funderburk was optioned to St. Paul in a corresponding move.
