Stratton became a free agent Friday after being non-tendered by the Pirates, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Stratton is 27 years old and has made only eight career appearances at the major-league level. He holds an underwhelming 4.66 ERA in 143 career innings of work at Triple-A.

Abbott was non-tendered by Washington on Friday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Abbott heads into free agency with a career 6.02 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 97:55 K:BB through 140.2 total major-league innings. The 28-year-old right-hander will likely have to settle for a minor-league contract this winter.

Pacheco (elbow) was non-tendered by the Tigers on Friday.

Pacheco, 25, will officially head to the open market after being designated for assignment this past Tuesday. He has yet to appear in a major-league game and will miss at least the first half of the 2024 campaign as he recovers from Tommy John surgery.

Hill became a free agent Friday after being non-tendered by Detroit.

Hill, 27, was lit up for 20 runs -- 16 earned -- over 15.2 major-league innings in 2023 and also struggled to a 6.02 ERA in 46.1 innings with Triple-A Toledo. He'll likely have to accept a minor-league deal in free agency.

Hanifee was non-tendered by Detroit on Friday.

Hanifee was designated for assignment by the Tigers earlier this week and is now officially a free agent. The 25-year-old right-hander surrendered three earned runs over his first five major-league innings in 2023 and had a 4.38 ERA in 90.1 innings of work at the Triple-A level.

Espada was non-tendered Friday by the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Espada registered an impressive 2.81 ERA with 110 strikeouts over 83.1 innings this past season between Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A El Paso. He also worked a scoreless inning of relief in his Sept. 24 major-league debut. The 26-year-old right-hander has some command issues to iron out, but he should draw interest from other organizations in free agency.

Hill (finger) was non-tendered by the Padres on Friday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Hill required surgery in late September to repair ligaments and clean up scar tissue in his left ring finger, though he is expected to be ready for the start of spring training in 2024. The 33-year-old lefty reliever should be able to find a new home in free agency.

Martin (shoulder) was non-tendered by the Rangers on Friday.

Martin did not pitch at any level in 2023 while recovering from January shoulder surgery. The 28-year-old lefty reliever is now a free agent.

Atlanta acquired Kowar from the Royals on Friday in exchange for Kyle Wright, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Kowar owns a brutal 9.12 ERA through his first 74 major-league innings, but he was a top-100 prospect just a few years ago and can maybe find himself with a change of scenery. The reigning NL East champs could try him as a long reliever in 2024, though he also has past experience as a starter.

Boston acquired Campbell from the Mariners on Friday in exchange for Luis Urias, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Campbell worked to a sharp 2.83 ERA and 33:13 K:BB over his first 28.2 major-league innings this past season for Seattle. The 26-year-old right-hander should be in the Opening Day bullpen mix with the Red Sox in 2024.
