Gregory Santos RP | SF
Mariners' Gregory Santos: Throws bullpen Friday
Santos (lat) threw a light bullpen Friday, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
It was an important benchmark for Santos as he works back from being shut down with lat soreness in mid-February. Drayer notes the session appeared to go well, but there's not yet an indication of when the Mariners may be willing to allow Santos to test himself out in Cactus League action.

Padres' Alek Jacob: Sent to El Paso
The Padres optioned Jacob to Triple-A El Paso on Saturday.
Jacob spent most of last season at Double-A San Antonio but appeared in three games for the Padres in July, throwing three scoreless innings while striking out five and walking one. The 25-year-old had a relatively successful spring as well, and he could receive a midseason promotion to San Diego's bullpen if he stays hot in Triple-A.

Padres' Logan Gillaspie: Optioned to Triple-A
The Padres optioned Gillaspie to Triple-A El Paso on Saturday.
Gillaspie had been competing for a middle-relief spot in the Padres' bullpen, but he will miss the cut after giving up two runs over four innings while striking out three batters in exhibition play. Blake Treinen RP | LAD
Dodgers' Blake Treinen: Set for imaging on ribs
Treinen will receive X-rays and a CT scan on his ribs Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Treinen was removed from Saturday's game against the Rangers after getting hit by a comebacker off the bat of Sam Huff. He looked to be in a lot of pain as he went down, but manager Dave Roberts said the Dodgers will have to wait until Sunday for more information on Treinen's condition. Until then, the team is labeling it as a right rib contusion for the 35-year-old righty.

Rangers' Shane Greene: Removed due to broken nail
Greene was removed from Saturday's game against the Dodgers while warming up due to a broken nail on his right middle finger, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Blake Treinen RP | LAD
Dodgers' Blake Treinen: Removed early Saturday
Treinen was removed from his spring appearance Saturday against Texas with an apparent injury, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Treinen went down after getting hit by a comebacker but was able to walk off the field under his own power. The ball appeared to hit Treinen in his midsection, so it's possible he simply had the wind knocked out of him, but the Dodgers will take a closer look and offer an update on his status in the near future.
