Athletics' Jack O'Loughlin: Back in big leagues
The Athletics recalled O'Loughlin from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.
The A's sent O'Loughlin to the minors June 9 after he had thrown seven shutout innings across three appearances out of the bullpen. He'll likely return to a multi-inning relief role while in Oakland, taking the place of Aaron Brooks on the MLB roster.

Red Sox's Liam Hendriks: Bullpen session later this week
Hendriks (elbow) is slated to throw a bullpen session later this week, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
It will be his first time throwing off a mound since he underwent Tommy John surgery in early August of last year. Hendriks is hoping to join the Red Sox' relief corps at some point during the final two months of this season, and while that's possible, the bigger-picture goal is having him healthy and ready to roll as a member of Boston's 2025 bullpen.

Sixto Sanchez SP | MIA
Marlins' Sixto Sanchez: Moved to 60-day IL
The Marlins transferred Sanchez (shoulder) to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.
The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Austin Kitchen, who was claimed off waivers. Sanchez had been hoping to be cleared to throw a bullpen session soon, but this move would seem to suggest that won't happen. The righty has been out since early June with right shoulder inflammation and now won't be eligible to return until the beginning of August at the earliest.

Caleb Boushley RP | TB
Twins' Caleb Boushley: Candidate to be called up
Boushley is a candidate to be called up to replace injured Chris Paddack in the Minnesota rotation, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Boushley is already on the 40-man roster, a designation top prospect David Festa, who's also in Triple-A St. Paul's rotation, doesn't possess. Boushley gave up two runs over two innings in his lone appearance in the majors this season, and he has a 3.52 ERA and 7.8 K/9 at St. Paul. The Twins will likely call up a pitcher to start Thursday at Arizona.
