The Brewers non-tendered Milner on Friday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

After a dominant 2023 campaign that saw Milner put up a 1.82 ERA and 0.96 WHIP, Milner's performance declined drastically, as he finished the 2024 regular season with a 4.73 ERA and 1.19 WHIP through 64.2 innings. The 33-year-old should still be able to attract attention from teams in need of bullpen depth, though his days of working in high-leverage situations are likely behind him.

The Mets non-tendered Hartwig on Friday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Hartwig spent most of 2024 in Triple-A Syracuse, though appeared in four major-league games for the Mets and posted a 6.75 ERA and 1.50 WHIP over 6.2 innings. He tore the meniscus in his left knee in mid-June, but he was able to return to minor-league action in early August. The 26-year-old will look to sign with a team who will give him a chance to compete for a bullpen spot during spring training.

The Mets non-tendered Young on Friday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Young started the 2024 regular season on the Reds' injured list due to a back injury he suffered during spring training. He was activated off IL in late May, but after being traded to the Giants on July 7, he was subsequently designated for assignment by San Francisco, which led to him being claimed off waivers by the Mets on July 17. Young appeared in just 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with a 2.87 ERA and 1.40 WHIP over 15.2 innings.

Alzolay (elbow) was non-tendered by the Cubs on Friday, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Alzolay began the 2024 season as the Cubs' closer, but he struggled and was removed from the role. His season went downhill from there, as he was sidelined by a forearm injury before ultimately undergoing Tommy John surgery in early August. Alzolay will miss all of the 2025 campaign as a result.

The Diamondbacks non-tendered Hughes on Friday.

Although Hughes put up a 2.03 ERA in 48.2 Triple-A innings, he struggled during his time with the big-league squad, logging an 8.15 ERA and 1.92 WHIP over 17.2 frames. The 28-year-old reliever will now look to turn things around with a new organization, though he may start off the season in the minors once again.

Morgan agreed to a contract with the Cubs to avoid arbitration Friday, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

The Cubs acquired Morgan from the Guardians on Wednesday, and he should serve as a key member of their bullpen in 2025. He's suffered from some inconsistency during four big-league seasons, though he posted a 1.93 ERA and 0.98 WHIP across 42 innings in 2024.

Thompson agreed to a contract with the Cubs on Friday to avoid arbitration, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Thompson has bounced between Triple-A Iowa and the big leagues for the last two seasons, but he was effective out of the bullpen across 30.1 innings for the Cubs in 2024 by maintaining a 2.67 ERA and 1.22 WHIP. His control (14.2 BB%) will likely keep him from a high-leverage role, but he should contribute as a reliever in 2025.

The Rays non-tendered Lovelady on Friday.

Lovelady was designated for assignment by the Rays on Tuesday, and he'll now officially enter free agency and look to sign with a team in need of a southpaw out of the bullpen. Across 35 major-league appearances between the Cubs and Rays in 2024, Lovelady posted a 4.46 ERA and 1.31 WHIP over 34.1 innings.

The Mariners non-tendered Chargois on Friday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Chargois was traded by the Marlins to the Mariners in late July. Despite posting a 2.23 ERA and 1.02 WHIP over 36.1 innings between the two teams in 2024, Chargois was designated for assignment by Seattle on Tuesday to make room on the 40-man roster for Austin Shenton. Now a free agent, Chargois should be able to catch on with a team in need of right-handed bullpen depth.

Seattle non-tendered Voth on Friday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Voth signed with the Mariners in January on a one-year deal and posted a 3.69 ERA and 1.05 WHIP over 61 innings in 2024, which were his best numbers since 2019. The 32-year-old will enter free agency and should garner plenty of interest from teams looking to bolster their bullpen depth.
