Suter will start Sunday's game against the Orioles, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.

Sunday's previously scheduled starter Carson Spiers was needed to pitch Saturday and is now on the injured list with a shoulder issue, prompting the Reds to turn to Suter as an opener for the series finale in Baltimore. The left-hander has given up two earned runs with a 3:1 K:BB across 6.2 innings this season, and he should turn things over to the Cincinnati bullpen after an inning or two. Randy Wynne was added to the roster for Sunday's contest and is a candidate to work in bulk relief.

The Reds selected Wynne's contract from Triple-A Louisville on Sunday, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.

The right-hander could provide some length behind opener Brent Suter versus the Orioles on Sunday, though the Reds haven't announced their pitching plans beyond Suter. Wynne has a 3.06 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 8:2 K:BB across 17.2 innings through four starts with Louisville this season, and if he does pitch Sunday, it will be his first big-league appearance since he made his debut in 2023.

Rogers picked up a hold in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Angels, pitching a perfect inning and striking out one.

Rogers entered the game in the eighth frame and retired the side, throwing eight of his 12 pitches for strikes. The veteran right-hander hasn't allowed a hit in his last three appearances, and he's been charged with only one earned run this season. Over 11 appearances in the 2025 campaign, Rogers has recorded a 0.87 ERA, 0.68 WHIP and a 9:2 K:BB with six holds across 10.1 innings.

Yates (1-1) allowed two runs on two hits without recording an out to take the loss and a blown save Saturday against the Rangers.

The right-hander entered to protect a 3-2 lead in the ninth inning against his former club, but a Josh Smith double and Adolis Garcia two-run homer quickly resulted in a walk-off win for the Rangers. It was the first save chance of the year for Yates, who entered the contest with six straight scoreless appearances and a 1.74 ERA for the season. Tanner Scott picked up his seventh save of the campaign in Friday's contest and should continue to operate as manager Dave Roberts' primary option at closer.

Gaddis struck out one over a scoreless two-thirds of an inning to earn a hold in Saturday's 3-0 win over Pittsburgh.

Gaddis has been a rock in the Guardians' bullpen, allowing four hits and three walks while striking out 11 over 7.2 scoreless innings. Saturday's hold was his sixth in nine appearances. The right-hander has picked up where he left off in 2024, when he logged a 1.57 ERA and 34 holds.

Martinez is expected to be the Diamondbacks' primary closer after the team placed A.J. Puk (elbow) on the 15-day injured list Saturday.

Puk will undergo an MRI when the team returns to Arizona following its road series against the Cubs. Martinez, who had been sharing closing duties with Puk, should become the main option in the ninth inning but could cede some save opportunities once Kevin Ginkel (shoulder) is activated. Martinez has not allowed a run while striking out 10 and walking one over seven innings.

Leasure allowed one hit and one walk while striking out one across a scoreless ninth inning Saturday against the Red Sox.

The White Sox haven't recorded a save as a team yet this season, leaving the closer role largely superfluous. Early favorite for the job Mike Clevinger was designated for assignment earlier in the week, which appears to put Leasure in the best position to protect any late leads. He pitched in a low-leverage situation Friday but then entered Saturday's game in the ninth inning with the score knotted at 3-3. That suggests Leasure may be the best option to speculate on saves for the White Sox, but opportunities will likely remain limited.

Bednar allowed two hits and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday against the Guardians.

Bednar was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday and immediately made an appearance. He entered the game with the Pirates down 3-0 in the final inning and struck out the final two batters he faced after allowing consecutive singles. Dennis Santana has performed adequately as Pittsburgh's closer, but Bednar should work his way back into high-leverage work if he pitches well.

Hader allowed a hit in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Saturday's 3-2 victory over the Padres. He did not strike out or walk a batter.

Hader failed to record a strikeout for just the second time this season, but he still threw 11 of his 15 pitches for strikes en route to his sixth save in as many chances this year. After giving up a run Opening Day, the left-hander has an 11:1 K:BB across 10 scoreless frames in his past eight outings.

Walker gave up a hit in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Angels. He did not strike out or walk a batter.

The right-hander allowed the tying run to reach on a one-out single by Jorge Soler and fell behind the next batter 3-0, but Walker escaped with his seventh consecutive scoreless appearance. He's converted all five of his save chances this year, and the only run Walker has allowed all season came Opening Day in Cincinnati.
