  • Brooks Raley RP | NYM

Mets' Brooks Raley: Notches first save

Raley threw a perfect inning to earn a save over Cleveland during the second game of Sunday's doubleheader. He recorded a hold with a scoreless frame during the first game.

Raley needed just five pitches to quickly finish the 2-1 victory Sunday night. He's turned in four shutout frames with a 3:3 K:BB since returning from the injured list May 14. He lowered his ERA to 3.52 with a save and 10 holds across 15.1 innings this season.

  • Ryan Walker RP | SF

Giants' Ryan Walker: Earns win in major-league debut

Walker (1-0) allowed three hits in a scoreless inning to pick up the win Sunday over the Marlins.

Walker pitched the sixth inning in his major-league debut, alternating between outs and singles. He stayed on to begin the seventh but was pulled after giving up a leadoff single. Walker pitched to a 0.89 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 23:8 K:BB over 20.1 innings across 15 appearances (three starts) for Triple-A Sacramento prior to his call-up Friday. He'll likely serve as a low-leverage reliever while he's with the Giants.

  • Camilo Doval RP | NYY

Giants' Camilo Doval: Earns 12th save

Doval allowed an unearned run on two hits and struck out one in one inning to earn a save in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Marlins.

Doval wasn't particularly sharp, but he had a three-run cushion when he entered the contest. He's allowed multiple baserunners in two of his last four outings, but he's still converted nine straight save attempts in an otherwise solid May. The closer has 12 saves overall, and he's pitched to a 2.08 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB through 21.2 innings this season.

  • Phillies' Craig Kimbrel: Notches fifth save

Kimbrel picked up the save in Sunday's 2-1 victory over the Cubs. He allowed a run on a hit and a walk while striking out two over one inning.

Kimbrel's four-game scoreless run was snapped by Christopher Morel's two-out homer Sunday, but he hung on to seal the 2-1 win and log his fifth save of the season. The 34-year-old Kimbrel is a perfect 5-for-5 in save opportunities despite a 6.35 ERA and 1.41 WHIP through 17 innings this year. He'll continue to split closing duties with Gregory Soto while Jose Alvarado (elbow) is sidelined.

  • Drew VerHagen RP | STL

Cardinals' Drew VerHagen: Snags win Sunday

VerHagen (3-0) struck out three without allowing a baserunner over 2.1 innings to earn the win Sunday over the Dodgers.

VerHagen came into the game with the bases loaded and two outs, and he balked in an inherited runner. From there, he was perfect, recording seven outs on a tidy 26 pitches. The right-hander has been solid as a long-relief option for the Cardinals this season, posting a 3.60 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 26:8 K:BB over 25 innings. He's also picked up five holds. VerHagen has allowed four runs in 12.2 innings in May.

  • Devin Williams RP | NYM

Brewers' Devin Williams: Walks two, picks up seventh save

Williams picked up the save in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Rays. He allowed two walks over 1.1 scoreless innings.

Williams was forced to enter into the game in the eighth inning for the second straight time, coming in for Peter Strzelecki with a runner on first and second and two outs after the Brewers' lead was cut down to two. Though Williams walked his first batter and loaded the bases, he managed to retire Isaac Paredes to end the inning and made it through the ninth to convert his seventh save of the season in as many opportunities. After recording at least one strikeout in 11 of his last 12 appearances, Williams was unable to manage a single punchout in his 1.1 innings of action.

  • Adbert Alzolay RP | NYM

Cubs' Adbert Alzolay: Takes third loss

Alzolay (1-3) allowed two runs on three hits across an inning of relief to take the loss Sunday against the Phillies. He struck out one.

After six scoreless innings from starter Justin Steele, Alzolay promptly came in and allowed Philadelphia to score the first two runs of the game. Despite the losing record, Alzolay has been mostly good this season with a 2.66 ERA and 22 strikeouts across 23.2 innings. This was his first time allowing multiple earned runs in an outing since April 4.

  • Hunter Harvey RP | CHC

Nationals' Hunter Harvey: Secures second save

Harvey picked up the save during Sunday's 6-4 win over the Tigers, tossing a perfect ninth inning with two strikeouts.

Kyle Finnegan earned the save Saturday, tossing a perfect ninth with one strikeout, but Harvey was called upon Sunday to protect a two-run lead, even though the former was presumably available again after pitching just once over the previous four days. It was Harvey's first save chance since blowing back-to-back opportunities in mid-May, and he delivered the goods with a strong performance. Harvey's now 2-for-5 in save chances, while Finnegan is 9-for-11, but either one could get the call on any given day, diminishing both of their overall values in fantasy.

  • Mets' David Robertson: Picks up win after blown save

Robertson (2-0) earned the win after blowing a save in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Guardians. He allowed one run on two hits with no strikeouts or walks over 1.1 innings.

With the Mets leading 3-2, Robertson entered during the top of the eighth inning with a runner on first base and two outs, and he quickly surrendered a two-run homer to Jose Ramirez for his first blown save of the year. The veteran right-hander returned for the ninth after New York reclaimed the lead and secured the victory with a scoreless frame. Robertson, Adam Ottavino and Brooks Raley all pitched during the matinee, which could open the door for Drew Smith to receive a save chance should one arise in Game 2.

  • Braves' Raisel Iglesias: Secures third save

Iglesias picked up the save during Sunday's 3-2 win over Seattle, tossing a perfect ninth inning while striking out two.

Iglesias has tossed three consecutive perfect innings with four strikeouts during that stretch after serving up four runs over his previous two appearances. The veteran missed the first month of the season with a shoulder strain, but he appears to be finding his groove and should continue to see plenty of save opportunities in his first full campaign with Atlanta.
