Edwin Diaz RP | LAD
Mariners' Edwin Diaz: Rings up another save Tuesday
Diaz recorded his 25th save in Tuesday's win over the Angels, firing a scoreless ninth inning in which he recorded two strikeouts.
The workhorse closer took the mound for the fourth time in five days, but he was as sharp as he's been all season. Diaz came just one pitch short of getting all 10 of his offerings into the strike zone as he knifed through the trio of Martin Maldonado, Ian Kinsler and Mike Trout, notably retiring Trout on a swinging strikeout after he'd blasted a pair of home runs earlier in the game. Manager Scott Servais would undoubtedly call on Diaz each and every time the Mariners held a ninth-inning lead if he could, but the presence of the recently acquired Alex Colome will give him flexibility as the season unfolds. Diaz's 36 innings through 36 appearances have him on pace to comfortably exceed the career-high 66 frames he logged across 66 outings in 2017.

Ryne Stanek RP | STL
Rays' Ryne Stanek: Effective as bullpen day opener
Stanek opened Tuesday's "bullpen day" victory over the Blue Jays and fired two perfect innings in which he recorded three strikeouts.
The hard-throwing right-hander mowed through the Blue Jays for two frames on an efficient 27 pitches, 19 of which found the strike zone. Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports that Stanek was clocking 96 mph regularly on his fastball during his brief stint on the mound, a level of velocity that has helped keep his ERA unblemished in June. Factoring in Tuesday's production, the 26-year-old sports a sparkling 10:3 K:BB across 6.2 innings in the current month, and he's already lowered his season ERA from 3.97 to 2.76 with his five straight scoreless efforts.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: Earns 18th save with scoreless outing
Chapman struck out a pair in a clean inning of work to earn his 18th save of the season Tuesday against the Nationals.
Chapman needed just 12 pitches to retire the side in order, striking out the first two batters he faced before getting a groundball out to end the game. He's been in exceptional form of late, throwing a scoreless outing with a save in six straight and posting a 9:2 K:BB during that span.

Jaime Barria RP | CLE
Angels' Jaime Barria: Allows two homers in loss
Barria (5-2) got the loss Tuesday, allowing three runs (two earned) on eight hits and no walks while striking out two over five innings against the Mariners.
All the damage came off the bat of Mitch Haniger, who took Barria deep twice with a solo homer in the first and a two-run blast in the fifth. It was otherwise a solid, if unspectacular, outing for the 21-year-old, as he allowed two or fewer earned runs for the seventh time in eight big-league starts. With a 32:9 K:BB and 2.61 ERA over 41.1 innings, Barria figures to get a chance to stick around in the rotation while Shohei Ohtani (elbow) sits on the disabled list. Next up is a home start Monday against the Diamondbacks.

Daniel Mengden RP | KC
Athletics' Daniel Mengden: Hit hard again in loss
Mengden (6-6) took the loss Tuesday, allowing six runs on eight hits and four walks while striking out one over 4.2 innings against the Astros.
Mengden was hit hard, allowing five of his seven hits to go for extra bases. He's now allowed six homers over the last two starts after yielding two more Tuesday. The 25-year-old has also started struggling with command of late -- after not allowing more than one walk in any of his first 11 starts, he's walked seven in 8.2 innings in his last two starts. The pair of bad outings has raised his ERA a full run up to 3.90. He'll aim to right the ship Sunday against the Angels.

Ken Giles RP | ATL
Astros' Ken Giles: Picks up save Tuesday
Giles allowed one hit and struck out two over one inning to pick up the save in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Athletics.
Giles was back in the closer's role after being bypassed three times last week for a potential save. All three of those save chances went to Hector Rondon, prompting some concern about Giles' role going forward. At the time, manager A.J. Hinch insisted Giles was still in the mix, but was merely getting a break from closing games, which appears to be the case. Giles has converted all 11 of his save chances this season.

Fernando Rodney RP | ARI
Twins' Fernando Rodney: Earns 14th save
Rodney secured save No. 14 in Tuesday's win over the Tigers, recording two strikeouts in a clean ninth inning.
After a rough start to the season which saw Rodney blow three of his first five save opportunities, he has since converted 12 straight chances and allowed only three runs and eight hits over 15.1 innings during that stretch. The 41-year-old has a 3.13 ERA and 1.26 WHIP with 22 strikeouts across 23 innings for the season.

Kendall Graveman RP | ARI
Athletics' Kendall Graveman: Could be facing extended absence
Graveman (forearm), who is on the Triple-A disabled list, is rehabbing in Arizona but may be out "for some time" according to manager Bob Melvin, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Graveman originally went on the disabled list at Triple-A Nashville on May 31 after compiling a 2-1 record, 4.50 ERA and 1.75 WHIP over 24 innings across four starts. He was originally expected to only miss about 10 days, but that timeline has already been exceeded. The right-hander has yet to resume any baseball activities, and according to Melvin, the organization will be careful not to rush the 27-year-old back. "Typically, we're pretty cautious with that type of thing -- so he's not doing any baseball activity at this point," Melvin said.

Louis Coleman RP | DET
Tigers' Louis Coleman: Takes first loss Tuesday
Coleman (3-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Twins, as he gave up two earned runs while retiring just two batters. He walked two and struck out one.
Coleman came on for starter Blaine Hardy after the latter allowed a leadoff single to start the seventh inning. Coleman retired two batters but also walked two before departing with the bases loaded and the Tigers clinging to a 2-1 lead. Unfortunately, Warwick Saupold gave up a grand slam, saddling Coleman with his first loss of the season. Coleman still has a solid 2.76 ERA and has been mostly effective out of the Detroit bullpen this season.

Jonathan Loaisiga RP | ARI
Yankees' Jonathan Loaisiga: Set for debut Friday
Loaisiga will be recalled from Double-A Trenton and start Friday's game against the Rays, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
It was originally reported that Loaisiga would make his big-league debut Thursday, but manager Aaron Boone clarified his comments during Tuesday's postgame interview, saying that the young pitcher would instead start Friday with Domingo German getting the nod Thursday.
