Romano (6-1) picked up the win in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning victory over the Tigers, giving up one hit over two scoreless innings. He struck out two.

Entering the game in the bottom of the ninth, Romano navigated through the heart of the Detroit order on only 10 pitches, and he needed only 10 more to finish things up in the 10th after Toronto took the lead. The Jays closer has reeled off nine straight scoreless appearances with a dominant 16:2 K:BB over 10 innings during that stretch, but he could be unavailable Sunday should the team have a late lead to protect.

Sulser (3-3) took the loss Saturday versus Tampa Bay. He allowed two runs on two hits and a walk with one strikeout in one inning.

Sulser surrendered a two-run home run to Randy Arozarena in the eighth inning, turning a one-run lead into a one-run deficit. It'll count as Sulser's second blown save of the year. He's given up five runs in 8.2 innings across nine outings in August. The right-hander has a solid 3.19 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 62:21 K:BB through 48 innings overall, but he's been trending slightly in the wrong direction lately. He's added five saves and three holds in 47 outings.

Kittredge earned a two-inning save Saturday against the Orioles, striking out a pair without allowing a baserunner.

The 31-year-old came on in the bottom of the eighth inning and recorded the final six outs of the night to earn his fourth save of the season, and his second in his last two appearances. Kittredge has allowed just one run in his last 13 outings, lowering his already-microscopic ERA and WHIP to 1.32 and 0.90, respectively. He's 8-2 in 46 appearances on the year with a 67:14 K:BB over 61.1 innings.

Colome allowed one hit and one walk but no runs over an inning of work Saturday night, picking up his ninth save in the Twins' 6-4 win over the Brewers.

After picking up the save Friday against the Brewers, Colome was called upon again to handle the ninth Saturday night. The right-hander got Lorenzo Cain to ground out before walking Pablo Reyes and allowing a single to Omar Narvaez that put the tying run on first base. Fortunately for both fantasy managers and the Twins, the 32-year-old induced a double play from Jace Peterson to end the game. With Taylor Rogers still on the injured list with a sprained left middle finger, Colome figures to see the bulk of the Twins' save opportunities.

Thielbar (6-0) allowed one hit and struck out three over two shutout innings, picking up the win in Saturday's 6-4 victory over the Brewers.

Thielbar inherited a two-on, none-out situation Saturday night, but limited the damage to just one unearned run to record his sixth win of the season. The three strikeouts are the most the local Minnesotan has recorded in a single outing since July 5.

Pressly struck out a pair and allowed one hit in an inning of work Saturday to record the save against the Rangers.

Pressly worked around a one-out Nick Solak double to notch his 21st save of the year. The veteran right-hander has been rock-solid all season, converting 21 of 23 save opportunities with a 1.87 ERA and 0.91 WHIP over 53 innings. Pressly may be in line for a day off in Sunday's series finale after picking up the save each of the last two nights.

Barlow picked up the save Saturday against the Mariners after allowing one run on two hits while fanning one across one inning.

Barlow recorded his 10th save of the season but it wasn't an easy outing, as he gave up a two-out RBI double before closing things out on a groundout from Kyle Seager. Barlow owns a career-best 2.57 ERA across 60 appearances this year.

Payamps (1-3) earned the win in relief Saturday against Seattle after tossing 2.2 scoreless innings, allowing one hit and fanning two.

Payamps picked up his first win of the season and managed to bounce back from an ugly outing the last time out -- he allowed two runs on three hits across two-thirds of an inning in his previous appearance against Seattle on Aug. 26. That has been the only blemish in Payamps' recent performances, though, as he has tossed seven scoreless outings over his last eight appearances. He owns a 2.40 ERA across 11 outings since the beginning of June.

Wittgren (2-7) was tagged with the relief loss Saturday against the Red Sox after allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits across one-third of an inning.

Wittgren had the task of keeping the Red Sox off the score board in the 10th inning while beginning his outing with a runner in second, and he failed miserably. The right-hander allowed a single to Kyle Schwarber and a three-run homer to J.D. Martinez -- that would be all the Red Sox would need to close things out. This was Wittgren's second straight outing allowing a homer, and he has given up six runs (three earned) over his last seven appearances (nine innings). The six-year veteran owns a 4.56 ERA on the season.

Ottavino picked up the save Saturday in an extra-innings win over Cleveland after recording the final two outs of the game. He allowed one hit and struck out one.

The veteran reliever entered the game with one out in the 10th inning after Martin Perez had a wild outing -- he loaded the bases and struck out Bobby Bradley before allowing Ottavino to close things out. While he allowed an unearned run following an RBI single from Oscar Mercado, he also struck out Austin Hedges and retired Andres Gimenez on a groundout to pick up his 10th save of the season. He has gone 10-for-14 in save chances while also recording 20 holds to the tune of a 3.51 ERA, so Ottavino should remain one of Boston's top late-inning arms in the final weeks of the regular season.
