Pressly picked up the save Sunday against the Angels after tossing a scoreless inning, striking out one.

Pressly was coming off a woeful outing against the Mariners, allowing three runs in just two-thirds of an inning, but he bounced back here to pick up his 24th save of the campaign. The veteran reliever has gone 24-for-26 in save chances this year and owns a 2.34 ERA across 56 appearances. To note, he has posted an ERA below the 2.55 mark in three of his last four campaigns.

Quijada (0-1) was tagged with the loss in relief Sunday against the Astros after allowing two runs on two hits across one inning, fanning two.

Quijada piggybacked Jaime Barria's short start but wasn't successful, and in fact, he gave up what would end up being the game-winning runs with a two-run home run to Kyle Tucker. Quijada has now given up multiple runs in two of his last four appearances and owns a 4.38 ERA across 12.1 innings (12 appearances) since the beginning of August.

Barria didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Astros after tossing four innings of one-run ball, allowing four hits and four walks while fanning six.

Barria hasn't won a game since late July, but at the very least, he managed to extend his streak of appearances where he's been able to limit the damage. He has given up two or fewer runs in three of his last four appearances and owns a 3.38 ERA across 18.2 innings in that stretch.

Alcala (3-6) allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out a batter over an inning as he took the loss against the Royals on Sunday.

Alcala entered to pitch the eighth with the game knotted at three and allowed the Royals to grab the lead for good. The first two batters he faced reached base and one scored on a single to right by Kyle Isbel. It was the first run Acala has given up since returning from the injured list Aug. 27 and his first loss since July 27. The 25-year-old owns a 4.53 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 50:13 K:BB over 51.2 innings this year.

Brentz (4-2) picked up the win Sunday after pitching a clean inning while striking out two batters.

Brentz came on to pitch the seventh and took care of the Twins' hitters in order. The Royals would end up taking the lead in the top of the eighth and would hold on to give Brentz his fourth win of the season. It was the 26-year-old's first win since July 24, as he now owns a 3.17 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 70:36 K:BB over 59.2 innings.

Barlow allowed one hit and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning to record his 12th save of the year in a 5-3 win over the Twins on Sunday.

Barlow worked around a base hit by Max Kepler while striking out two batters to pick up the save. The 28-year-old has converted each of his last four save chances and 12-of-18 overall on the year. Barlow has let up just one run over his last 11 appearances and now owns a 2.37 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 84:24 K:BB over 68.1 innings.

Pivetta allowed one run (zero earned) on three hits while striking out five over 5.1 innings in a no-decision against the White sox on Sunday.

Pivetta made his first start since Aug. 30 after spending some time on the COVID injured list. He held the White Sox scoreless through five innings before the leadoff man in the sixth reached on a throwing error. A sacrifice bunt would move him over to second and then Luis Robert singled him home. It was a very positive outing for the 28-year-old after giving up four runs in each of his last three starts. Pivetta also managed to not walk a batter in a start for the first time since May 14. The right-hander now owns a 4.49 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 156:62 K:BB over 140.1 innings. He lines up to face the Orioles in Boston next weekend.

Kimbrel (4-4) allowed one run on one hit and two walks while striking out two in the ninth inning to earn the win over the Red Sox on Sunday.

Kimbrel was called upon to close the game out rather than Liam Hendriks and could not get the job done. He allowed a leadoff double before eventually walking two batters to load the bases. The Red sox would end up tying the game at one apiece on a sacrifice fly by Alex Verdugo before Kimbrel punched out Bobby Dalbec to get out of the inning. Fortunately, the White Sox would end up walking it off in the bottom half of the frame to give Kimbrel the win. The 33-year-old has now blown back-to-back save chances but still owns a solid 2.18 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 91:20 K:BB over 53.2 innings.

Barlow fired a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in the win over the Athletics on Sunday.

Barlow entered the ninth inning with a one-run lead. He retired the side in order to earn his sixth save of the season. He has three saves in his last three appearances dating back to Sept. 8. The rookie has allowed just four earned runs all season, good for a 1.59 ERA and 0.88 WHIP over 22.2 innings.

Hearn (6-4) allowed three earned runs on five hits while striking out two across six innings, earning the win over the Athletics on Sunday.

Hearn surrendered home runs to Yan Gomes and Matt Olson, accounting for three runs against him. He still cashed in a quality start to earn his fourth win in a row. Despite the recent success, he is having trouble with the long ball, giving up seven home runs in that four-game stretch. The 26-year-old has a 3.99 ERA and 1.24 WHIP with 83 strikeouts in 90.1 innings this season.
