Garza allowed one run on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts in two innings during Sunday's 5-2 loss to the White Sox.

The right-hander has covered more than one inning in just two of his seven September appearances. Garza has logged a 4.23 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 28:17 K:BB across 27.2 innings to begin his big-league career. The 27-year-old will likely remain in a low-leverage role to finish the season, although he's made noticeable improvements after a few rough patches in July and August.

Barlow recorded the final out of Sunday's 7-4 win over Baltimore via strikeout to earn the save.

Pedro Severino's two-run home run off Kolby Allard made it a three-run game, and Barlow entered the contest after Jahmai Jones drew a walk. Barlow was able to strike out Ryan McKenna to end the threat. The right-hander is up to nine saves this year, all earned within his last 15 appearances. He's pitched to a 1.67 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 26:12 K:BB across 27 innings overall while taking on the closer role in Texas in his first big-league season.

Kittredge (neck) threw a bullpen session Saturday and manager Kevin Cash noted afterwards that the reliever's stiffness was "pretty much gone," the team's official site reports.

The right-hander was put on the injured list retroactive to Sept. 18 as a largely precautionary measure, as the Rays were intent on not having him pitch through any discomfort and worsen a relatively minor issue. That strategy seems to be paying off as the season enters its final week, and it appears Kittredge, who's posted an excellent 1.55 ERA over 54 appearances, will be at full health for the postseason. Expect Tampa Bay to activate Kittredge from the injured list within the next couple of days.

Barlow gave up a run on two hits and two walks while striking out three in one inning to earn the save in Sunday's 2-1 win over Detroit.

The right-hander's 16th save of the year wasn't all that sweet, but he was able to strike out Harold Castro with the bases loaded to preserve the lead. Barlow has rarely made mistakes on the mound with a 2.49 ERA across 72.1 innings. He's added a 1.22 WHIP and 89:28 K:BB while logging 16 saves and 14 holds in 69 appearances. He should end the year as the head of Kansas City's closer committee.

Trivino (7-7) got the win in Sunday's 4-3 victory over Houston, allowing two hits with two strikeouts in one inning.

Trivino entered a 3-3 tie in the top of the ninth inning and nearly surrendered the lead, but Jose Siri was thrown out at the plate for the third out. Trivino became the winner when Oakland walked it off in the bottom of the inning. The 27-year-old has permitted just a single run in his last 9.2 innings across eight appearances, though he hasn't seen a save chance in over a month.

Hendriks allowed a hit in a scoreless ninth inning and earned a save over Cleveland on Sunday. He struck out one batter.

Hendriks worked around a two-out single by Myles Straw to finish off the 5-2 win. He extended his scoreless streak to 12.2 innings with a 16:0 K:BB during that span. Hendriks is now 36-for-42 in save chances with a 2.65 ERA.

Anderson allowed a solo homer in one inning Sunday but still earned the save over Miami.

Anderson served up a solo shot to Lewin Diaz but retired the next three Marlins and secured the 3-2 victory. He's now given up a run in each of his last three outings after recording three straight scoreless frames to begin his 2021 season. Anderson is now sporting a 4.50 ERA with a 1:2 K:BB through six innings.

Bazardo was recalled from Triple-A Worcester on Sunday.

The reliever has thrown three innings in the majors this season, tossing three scoreless frames while striking out three. He'll take the spot of Josh Taylor (bacK), who was placed on the 10-day injured list retroactive to Thursday.

Taylor was placed on the 10-day injured list with a back injury Sunday.

The move was made retroactive to Sept. 23, so the earliest the reliever can return is Oct. 3, the final game of the season. Since returning from the COVID-19 list on Sept. 6, he's given up two runs while striking out six in five innings. Right-hander Eduard Bazardo was recalled from Triple-A Worcester.

Barria was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a right shoulder impingement.

The injury was initially described as arm fatigue after Barria exited Saturday's start early, but the shoulder impingement and IL designation will end his 2021 season. Barria posted a 4.61 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in 56.2 innings this season, and 11 of his 13 appearances were starts. Sam Selman was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake to fill Barria's roster spot.
