Winder is listed as the starter for Friday's game against the Athletics.

Winder was considered likely to make a second turn through the rotation, and he'll officially be on the mound for Friday's series opener against Oakland. He struck out seven in six scoreless innings to earn the win in his first major-league start Sunday against the Rays.

Logue will start Friday's game against the Twins, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

The southpaw was recalled by the Athletics on Friday, and he'll officially make his first major-league start since Cole Irvin (shoulder) is on the 15-day injured list. If Logue performs well in Minnesota, he'll have a chance to remain in the rotation while Irvin is sidelined.

Logue was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday.

Logue was believed to be a leading candidate to start Friday against the Twins if Cole Irvin (shoulder) was unable to make his turn through the rotation. Irvin was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday, so Logue is expected to start in Minnesota, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports. The southpaw has started four games in Las Vegas this year and has posted a 5.63 ERA and 1.81 WHIP in 16 innings.

Sewald struck out the side in a perfect ninth inning during Thursday's loss to the Rays.

Sewald was making only his second appearance since being activated from the COVID-19 IL on April 27, and he was as dominant as he'd been in his first five trips to the mound this season. The right-hander hasn't so much as given up a hit or a walk over six innings thus far in 2022, recording eight strikeouts and one hold along the way.

Swanson fired 1.1 scoreless innings in a loss to the Rays on Thursday, keeping his ERA unblemished through 10 appearances.

The right-hander has been exceedingly sharp through the first month of the season, as in addition to not yet allowing a run, he also boasts a 13:1 K:BB across 11 innings. Swanson is sporting a sparkling 0.73 WHIP as well and and has already made four appearances of more than one inning while contributing a pair of holds.

Curry went five innings for Double-A Akron against Richmond on Wednesday, striking out eight while allowing a single run on two hits and a walk.

This was his longest and best outing of what's been a somewhat uneven season so far -- Curry has allowed one or no runs in three of his five starts, but he gave up a combined 10 runs in 7.2 innings across his other two starts. Despite the inconsistency, Curry is carrying an impressive 31:8 K:BB across 21.2 innings, and his 3.90 FIP and 1.18 WHIP indicate that there's some bad luck in his 4.98 ERA. He will need to get better at limiting homers, though -- that was a bit of an issue last year (1.2 HR/9), and he's already given up four this year (1.7 HR/9).

Otto and the Rangers won't play against the Yankees on Friday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather.

Friday's matchup will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday, while Otto will start Saturday's matchup against the Yankees, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports. Over his first two starts of the year, he's posted a 2.89 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 9.1 innings.

Kelly (biceps) has thrown two scoreless innings while striking out three and walking one while on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte.

Kelly began the rehab assignment May 1, and he pitched again three days later. He is targeting a return to the White Sox at some point during the team's upcoming series against Cleveland and appears to be on track to do so. The White Sox boast a deep bullpen, but Kelly should still have the chance to pitch in high-leverage situations upon his activation.

Montero struck out one and did not allow a baserunner in a scoreless eighth inning to earn a hold Thursday against the Tigers.

Montero shifted back to an eighth-inning role due to the return of Ryan Pressly (knee). Montero needed only 12 pitches to retire the side and maintain a 2-0 lead for Houston. While he should be projected for a setup role, it will be worth monitoring the effectiveness of Pressly, who blew the save chance Thursday in his first appearance since being activated from the injured list.

Fleming will pitch behind opener Matt Wisler against the Mariners on Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Fleming has a 6.32 ERA, 1.85 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB through five outings this season, and he'll follow an opener Friday for the fourth time. The 25-year-old has a 3.12 ERA in his three previous appearances as a primary pitcher, so his outlook is significantly improved compared to when he works as a traditional starter.
