Patino (oblique) had his live bullpen session pushed from Saturday to Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Patino's rehab assignment was shut down due to a blister, and he'll be unable to face live hitters until Monday. Whether the right-hander is able to resume his rehab assignment afterward depends on how he feels following the throwing session. However, it's still possible that Patino is able to rejoin the Rays sometime in late July.

Staumont (neck) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Omaha on Sunday, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.

Staumont landed on the injured list in late June due to a neck strain but has been cleared to return to game action in the minors to close out the weekend. If he feels good following Sunday's rehab appearance, the right-hander will likely be able to rejoin the Royals sometime next week.

Howard cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Toledo on Saturday.

Howard has been pitching in Toledo since mid-May, posting a 3.75 ERA, 19:9 K:BB and 1.42 WHIP in 12 innings over 14 appearances. After losing his spot on the 40-man roster Tuesday, the 29-year-old will remain with the Triple-A club.

Logue was recalled as expected ahead of his scheduled start Saturday against the Astros.

Logue gets a tough assignment Saturday after failing to convince in his first five big-league outings. He owns a 5.47 ERA over 24.2 innings in his first taste of major-league action, striking out just 18.6 percent of opposing batters while generating a very low 25.0 percent groundball rate. His 5.22 ERA in 10 starts for Triple-A Las Vegas doesn't inspire much confidence, either. Sam Selman was optioned to clear space on the roster.

Barlow (3-2) allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning to earn the win Friday over the Guardians.

Barlow kept the game tied in the top of the ninth inning, and Michael Taylor delivered a walkoff single in the Royals' half of the frame. This was Barlow's first win since April 28, though he has continued to provide steady work as the Royals' main closer. The right-hander owns a 2.33 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 38:12 K:BB across 38.2 innings while going 13-for-15 in saves and adding four holds in 35 appearances.

Hentges (2-1) allowed a run on two hits and struck out one in one-third of an inning, taking the loss Friday versus the Royals.

Hentges gave up a double to Vinnie Pasquantino and a walkoff single to Michael Taylor. After allowing runs in three of his first 24 appearances, Hentges has given up eight runs in his last five innings across six outings. The southpaw has seen his ERA spike from 1.44 to 3.60 during this slump, and he owns a 1.13 WHIP and 34:11 K:BB in 30 innings overall. He's added one hold, but he'll likely remain in a low-leverage role until he can get back on track.

Tate (1-3) allowed a run on one hit in one inning, earning the win Friday over the Angels.

Tate gave up a solo shot to Shohei Ohtani in the top of the ninth inning, only for the Orioles to rally for the walkoff win a half-inning later. With seven runs allowed in his last 12 innings, Tate hasn't been at his sharpest lately. The right-hander has still been a reliable reliever for the Orioles, posting a 2.68 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 34:8 K:BB through 40.1 innings while adding two saves and 11 holds in 36 appearances. The homer he allowed Friday was just the second one he's given up all year.

Castro (5-0) earned the win over Boston on Friday, allowing one hit while striking out three batters over 1.1 scoreless innings.

Yankees starter Nestor Cortes was lit up for four runs and eight hits over 3.2 innings, and Castro was brought in to replace him with two outs in the bottom of the fourth. The righty reliever began his outing by hitting Xander Bogaerts with a pitch, but he bounced back to end the frame with a strikeout. Castro then retired three of the four batters he faced in the fifth and was credited with the win as the Yankees cruised to victory. Over his past five outings, Castro has tossed 6.1 scoreless innings while posting a 10:1 K:BB and notching two wins along with one hold.

Patino (oblique) is dealing with a blister and is scheduled to throw a live bullpen session Saturday, Will Aldrich of MLB.com reports.

Patino was forced to abandon his rehab assignment after developing the blister, and the Rays will use his throwing session Saturday to determine the next step in his recovery. Prior to the setback, Patino had ramped up to 78 pitches, so a return later in July remains possible.

Zimmermann was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday.

Zimmermann was sent down in mid-June after struggling over his first major-league starts of the year, posting a 5.94 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in 66.2 innings. He didn't fare much better in the minors, logging a 4.50 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in 18 innings over three appearances (two starts). The southpaw was scheduled to start for Norfolk on Saturday but will rejoin the Orioles' active roster, likely as a long reliever for now.
