Gott signed a one-year contract with the Mariners on Monday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Gott will head to the West Coast after spending the 2022 campaign with Milwaukee. He served as one of the Brewers' most dependable arms during the 2022 season, finishing with a 4.14 ERA and 1.03 WHIP to go with a 44:12 K:BB across 45.2 innings. Gott is a much-needed addition for the Mariners, who have little veteran experience in the bullpen outside of Paul Sewald, Andrew Munoz and Diego Castillo.

Garcia signed a minor-league contract with the Athletics on Nov. 14.

Garcia is expected to open the 2023 campaign at Triple-A Las Vegas, though he'll likely get the opportunity to attend Oakland's big-league camp this spring as a non-roster invitee. He made six appearances out of the Baltimore bullpen in 2022 but otherwise spent the majority of the season at Triple-A Norfolk, where he produced a 2.34 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 34.2 innings.

Webb signed a minor-league deal with the Angels on Thursday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Webb spent the entire 2022 season in Triple-A, splitting time with the Atlanta and Arizona organizations. He had effective seasons in the majors in both 2019 and 2020, so it's possible he contributes with the Angels in 2023.

Rodriguez (shoulder) signed a one-year contract with the Red Sox on Wednesday.

Rodriguez will head to Boston after spending the 2022 campaign with the Mets, posting a 4.47 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 57 strikeouts over 50.1 innings in 55 appearances. The 31-year-old sustained a shoulder injury in the postseason, the severity of which has yet to be disclosed, though he seems likely to be ready to go for spring training in February. Rodriguez will provide the Red Sox with another left-handed arm out of the bullpen. Based on his performance in 2023, the team has a club option to retain him for an additional season.

Trivino agreed to a one-year, $4.1 million contract with the Yankees on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

A closer during his time with Oakland, Trivino logged only one save after coming over to New York at the trade deadline, but his numbers were much improved overall following the move. Trivino turned in a 1.66 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 22:10 K:BB in 25 appearances for the Yankees and will likely be an important part of the bridge to the ninth inning next season.

Alexander agreed to a one-year, $1.875 million contract with the Tigers on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Alexander has found his niche at the major-league level as a swingman, starting 42 games and pitching in relief in 53 others over the past four seasons. He turned in a 4.81 ERA and 1.32 WHIP over 101 innings in 2022 -- a step back from 2021, but still serviceable. The southpaw should be expected to get close to the century mark in terms of innings again in 2023.

Pitching coach Ethan Katz said Thursday that Crochet (elbow) isn't expected to serve as a starting pitcher in 2023, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Katz also said he hopes Crochet will be able to serve as a long reliever at some point in 2023, but the southpaw still needs additional time to recover after undergoing Tommy John surgery in April. Crochet has been throwing from 120 feet recently, but it's not yet clear how much work he'll be able to take on once spring training begins. He shouldn't be expected to be available for Opening Day.

The Blue Jays acquired Swanson and left-hander Adam Macko from the Mariners on Wednesday in exchange for outfielder Teoscar Hernandez, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Swanson quietly emerged as one of the majors' top setup men in 2022, finishing with a 1.68 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 70:10 K:BB across 53.2 innings for Seattle while nabbing three wins, three saves and 14 holds. In Toronto, Swanson will face a more blocked path to the ninth-inning role with incumbent closer Jordan Romano coming off his first All-Star campaign. Swanson should at least remain a solid late-round target in deeper mixed and AL-only leagues for fantasy managers looking for stability in the ratio categories.

Canterino (elbow) was added to the Twins' 40-man roster Tuesday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Canterino underwent Tommy John surgery in August, but the Twins still opted to protect him from potentially being selected in the upcoming Rule 5 draft. The 25-year-old had a 1.83 ERA across 34.1 innings for Double-A Wichita prior to the injury but will now be sidelined for 2023 while he rehabs from the procedure.

Reed was designated for assignment by the Red Sox on Tuesday, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Reed was claimed off waivers by Boston in October, but he didn't stay on the 40-man roster for long. The 30-year-old appeared in 18 games between the Orioles, Dodgers and Mets last season and had a 7.02 ERA across 16.2 innings.
