Burke (2-0) pitched a scoreless 1.1 innings to earn Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Burke retired all four batters faced on balls that never left the infield. After starter Jon Gray worked 5.1 innings, Burke was the pitcher of record when Ezequiel Duran put Texas ahead for good with a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning. The left-hander has remained unscathed in a bullpen that's taken its lumps recently. He's not overpowering, but Burke hasn't allowed a run in seven innings and has a 2.03 ERA over 13.1 innings.

Leclerc was not used in a save situation in Tuesday's 6-4 win over Arizona.

Will Smith closed out the win instead of Leclerc, who hasn't been given a save opportunity since blowing his second of the season, April 24, against the Reds. Leclerc hasn't pitched in five days and was rested, but manager Bruce Bochy opted for Smith for a second straight save opportunity. Leclerc's 0.93 ERA hides the seven walks he's allowed and a 6.14 xFIP over 9.2 innings.

Yarbrough (0-4) was handed the loss Tuesday against the Orioles, allowing five runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five over 3.2 innings.

Yarbrough opened up the game by impressively striking out the first five hitters he faced. The trouble for him showed up in the fourth inning. Ryan Mountcastle launched a two-run homer to kick off the scoring and Yarbrough proceeded to allow the next six batters to reach via three singles and three walks which led to another three runs for the Orioles. He couldn't finish the frame and was replaced by Jose Cuas. Yarbrough doesn't pitch deep enough into games and his numbers have not been good. He now owns a 7.40 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 12:7 K:BB over 20.2 innings and lines up to face the Athletics over the weekend.

Adam picked up the save in Tuesday's 4-1 victory over the Pirates. He allowed no runs on one hit while striking out three over one inning.

Adam saw his first save chance of the season with Pete Fairbanks (finger) still unavailable. The 31-year-old Adam took advantage of the opportunity, striking out three Pirates to seal a 4-1 win. Adam is off to another strong start in his second season with Tampa Bay, pitching to a 1.59 ERA with a 0.97 WHIP and 13:1 K:BB through 11.1 innings. He'll likely be the Rays' preferred option in the ninth while Fairbanks is out.

Sewald earned the save in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Athletics, striking out two in a perfect inning.

Sewald got through the clean inning on 17 pitches (11 strikes). He's now posted three consecutive scoreless appearances after giving up a run in back-to-back outings. The 32-year-old has been solid this year with a 2.81 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 21:4 K:BB through 16 innings. He's also converted eight saves and picked up two wins in 16 outings.

Smith picked up the save Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, firing 1.1 scoreless innings during which he allowed a hit and a walk while recording a strikeout.

Smith was asked to get four outs while protecting a two-run lead. He struck out Nick Ahmed to end the eighth, but he allowed the tying run to reach in the ninth before closing the door on the Diamondbacks. Smith has a team-high four saves with an excellent 1.69 ERA and 0.94 WHIP.

Warren (elbow) has been shut down from throwing for 4-to-6 weeks after receiving the results of his MRI, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Warren's MRI came back cleaner than that of Jose Quijada (elbow), but he's still going to be unable to throw for at least a month and very possibly more. The right-hander will then need a rehab assignment, and if all goes well, he could be a middle-innings option for the bullpen near the end of June.

Manager Phil Nevin said Tuesday that Silseth is "certainly going to pitch in some high-leverage situations," Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

The 22-year-old pitched a scoreless seventh inning to earn a hold Sunday against Milwaukee, and Nevin indicated the right-hander could move "even higher" in the late-inning pecking order. The club could move Silseth back to a starting role later in the season and likely still has that in mind long term, but for now it appears he'll work as part of the bridge to closer Carlos Estevez.

Fleming left Tuesday's game against the Pirates with a left foot contusion, Bally Sports Sun reports. X-rays returned negative.

Fleming was hit in the left foot by a liner from Ke'Bryan Hayes, and he was unable to continue after throwing a couple of warmup pitches. The left-hander should be considered day-to-day, and he has a chance to work as a bulk reliever for Tampa Bay this weekend if there are no setbacks.

The Red Sox announced Tuesday that Kelly underwent a successful ulnar nerve transposition revision in his right elbow, Jen McCaffrey of The Athleticreports.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas at The Andrews Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. Kelly has no timetable for a return at this point, but the right-hander told reporters near the end of April that his hope is to return in four months. If there are no setbacks, Kelly could be a late-innings option for the Boston bullpen near the start of September.
