Bautista picked up the save in Friday's 3-2 victory over the Royals. He allowed zero hits and zero walks while striking out two over a scoreless inning.

Bautista has now gone six straight games without allowing a run, and he has not allowed more than one earned run in any of his 30 appearances thus far. The 27-year-old flamethrower is now tied for second in MLB with 17 saves while allowing opponents to bat a paltry .162 against him. Bautista and stablemate Yennier Cano have formed one of the most dynamic late-inning tandems in all of baseball for the Orioles.

Estevez allowed a run on one hit and one walk while striking out one to earn the save in Friday's 5-4 win over the Mariners.

Estevez gave up a solo home run to Mike Ford but was able to prevent any other damage. This was the second run Estevez has allowed over his last 5.1 innings, but he has a save in each of the five appearances in that span. For the season, he's 17-for-17 in save chances with a 1.59 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 36:12 K:BB over 28.1 innings.

Angels manager Phil Nevin told reporters after Friday's win over Seattle that Joyce (hand) is expected to be placed on the injured list prior to Saturday's game against the Mariners, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Joyce left Friday's game without recording an out while experiencing irritation in his right hand, and he also reportedly felt some numbness in his fingers. The flame-throwing right-hander is likely to miss at last two weeks, but as Fletcher notes, Joyce won't have a clear timeline until he undergoes more testing Saturday.

May struck out two batters in a perfect inning and earned a save over the Brewers on Friday.

May took care of business by retiring the side in order to secure the 5-2 win Friday. He's picked up a save in each of his last two appearances after blowing his first two save opportunities this season. May lowered his ERA to 5.52 and is currently riding a 5.2-inning scoreless streak.

Joyce left Friday's game against the Mariners with right hand irritation, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Joyce left with a trainer after issuing a walk to Teoscar Hernandez and not being able to record an out in the outing. The right-hander will likely need to undergo further testing, and he should be considered day-to-day until the Angels provide further update on his status.

Joyce didn't record an out and issued a walk before exiting with a trainer. Jacob Webb entered the contest for the Angels in Joyce's absence. The rookie will undergo further testing, but for now the hard-throwing reliever should be considered day-to-day.

Seattle activated Murfee (elbow) from the 15-day injured list Friday.

Murfee has completed his month-long recovery from a bout of right elbow inflammation and will jump back into the Mariners' bullpen Friday night against the Angels. The 29-year-old had registered a 1.38 ERA with 15 strikeouts in 13 innings prior to the IL stint.

Wingenter (biceps) will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Lakeland on Saturday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

It's unclear how many appearances the Tigers want to give Wingenter before returning him from the 60-day injured list, but the 29-year-old righty looks on track to return to Detroit's bullpen before the end of June. Wingenter landed on the injured list April 22 with right biceps tendinitis and was transferred to the 60-day IL at the end of May.

Winder was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul on Friday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Winder made one appearance for the Twins back in late April but has spent the bulk of the year with St. Paul, holding a 6.52 ERA and 20:13 K:BB over 19.1 innings. The righty's full-time move to relief this season hasn't gone terribly well and he figures to be used in low-leverage situations.

Thielbar was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday with a right oblique strain, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Thielbar returned from the same injury this past weekend and made just one appearance before evidently suffering a setback. He missed more than a month with the issue the first time around. Josh Winder is taking Thielbar's spot in the bullpen.
