The Yankees reinstated Loaisiga (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Monday.

In order to open up a spot for Loaisiga on the 40-man roster, the Yankees designated right-hander Deivi Garcia for assignment. Loaisiga is back with the Yankees for the first time since early April, when he was shut down due to a bone spur in his right elbow. He ultimately required surgery but was cleared to start a throwing program in mid-June before being sent out for a rehab assignment July 30. Loaisiga pitched well in his three rehab appearances and has served as a high-leverage reliever for the Yankees when healthy over the past three seasons, but manager Aaron Boone could look to ease the right-hander back into the bullpen with a few lower-pressure innings before deploying him as a setup man.

Garcia was considered by many to be a top-100 prospect before the 2020 season, but a combination of injuries, poor command and diminished stuff led to him languishing at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre for most of the last three seasons. The undersized righty could get scooped up by an organization that sees something with Garcia that they think can be fixed. He turned 24 years old in May and still possesses a fastball that sits at 95 miles per hour in short bursts.

Lamet's contract was selected from Triple-A Worcester on Monday.

He signed a minor-league contract with the Red Sox on June 28 and has logged a 3.72 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 16 strikeouts in 19.1 innings over his last five appearances. Lamet went five innings deep in his two most recent games, so he will be capable of logging multiple innings per appearance, presumably out of the bullpen.

Clase received a one-game suspension Monday for his role in an on-field brawl that occurred in Saturday's game against the White Sox, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

MLB announced a six-game suspension for White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson, a three-game suspension for Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez, and one-game bans for Clase, Guardians manager Terry Francona, Guardians third base coach Mike Sarbaugh and White Sox manager Pedro Grifol after reviewing the incident. Anderson and Ramirez are both appealing their bans, while Clase and Francona will serve their one-game suspensions in Monday's series opener with the Blue Jays. Trevor Stephan (18 holds, two saves) has operated as the Guardians' top setup man for most of the season and would presumably be the top candidate to step in for Clase as the team's closer Monday if a save situation arises.

The Orioles transferred Voth (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Monday.

Voth had been on the 15-day IL since June 14, so his move to the 60-day IL ensures he won't be activated until mid-August. The 31-year-old right-hander started up a minor-league rehab assignment July 20, so he'll likely take close to the entire 30-day window to get stretched back out before making his return to the Baltimore bullpen. Voth's move to the 60-day IL clears a spot on the 40-man roster for reliever Jacob Webb, whom the Orioles claimed off waivers from the Angels on Monday.

Webb, who turns 30 later this month, had a 3.98 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and a 34:20 K:BB in 31.2 innings for the Angels this season before getting designated for assignment over the weekend. He's out of minor-league options, so he will assume a low-leverage role once he is able to join the Orioles in Baltimore for this week's series against the Astros.

Stewart (elbow) played catch from 60-to-75 feet Saturday and is slowly working to a bullpen progression, MLB.com reports.

Stewart experienced a setback with his elbow following a bullpen session July 29 and was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday. On a more fortunate note, Stewart hasn't been shut down from throwing entirely following his setback, though the Twins plan on bringing him along more slowly this time around. Twins bench coach Jayce Tingler said Friday that Stewart could be activated in four weeks if all goes well during the rehab process, meaning the right-hander likely won't be back with the big club until around early or mid-September.

Peralta was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Monday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

He's clearing out to make room in the bullpen for Brent Honeywell, who was claimed off waivers from the Padres. Peralta had made four scoreless appearances in his most recent stint with the big club.

Perez (4-1) walked one but didn't allow a hit or a run over 1.1 innings to earn the win Sunday over the Mets.

Perez has steadied himself since the All-Star break, allowing three runs over 7.1 innings while picking up a save and two wins. The southpaw still has mediocre ratios for the year with a 4.30 ERA, 1.70 WHIP and 29:22 K:BB while picking up eight holds over 37.2 innings. Perez will likely continue to serve as more of a middle reliever for an Orioles bullpen that sports a 3.55 ERA collectively, fourth-best in the majors.

Crochet said July 29 that he was diagnosed with a left shoulder strain after being pulled off his rehab assignment and expects to remain shut down for 2-to-3 weeks before he resumes a throwing program at the White Sox's spring training facility in Arizona, MLB.com reports. "I just want to take this comeback slow and don't want to rush anything. I still plan to pitch at some point at the end of the year," Crochet said.

Crochet was initially forced to the 15-day injured list June 20 with what the White Sox labeled as shoulder inflammation, and he looked as though he would have a chance to return in early August after he was cleared to begin a rehab assignment following the All-Star break. However, he never ended up making any appearances in the minors after feeling soreness in his shoulder July 21 before he was diagnosed with a more significant injury. Since he's unlikely to resume throwing until at least the middle of August and is expected to be built up slowly, Crochet probably won't be an option in the White Sox bullpen until early September, in a best-case scenario. The timing of Crochet's injury is particularly inconvenient, as he may have been in the mix for saves for the White Sox in the wake of closer Liam Hendricks undergoing season-ending Tommy John surgery.
