Anthony Santander DH | TOR
Blue Jays' Anthony Santander: Still not hitting
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Monday that Santander (shoulder) has not resumed hitting but could do so "hopefully soon," Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Santander's progress from a left shoulder subluxation has been slow, as he's already missed nearly six weeks of action and still isn't ready to swing a bat. Once cleared to swing, Santander will need time to ramp things back up and is sure to require a rehab assignment before being activated. He is not eligible to return until late July after being shifted to the 60-day injured list last week.

Masataka Yoshida DH | BOS
Red Sox's Masataka Yoshida: Likely returning Wednesday
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Monday that Yoshida (shoulder) will "most likely" be activated from the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
Yoshida has played five rehab games between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester, going 4-for-14 with a 2:2 K:BB. He is with the Red Sox in Boston and will go through a workout Monday and "probably" another one Tuesday, according to Cora, before being activated for his season debut if all goes well. Yoshida's role upon his return is unclear, as Boston has already been struggling to find regular playing time for all its outfield and designated-hitter options. Yoshida made three starts at DH and two in left field during his rehab assignment.

Rafael Devers DH | SF
Giants' Rafael Devers: Multi-hit effort in victory
Devers went 2-for-3 with a run scored, a walk and a hit-by-pitch in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Athletics.
Devers singled in the fifth inning before coming around to score. He added another single in the sixth, marking his first multi-hit performance since June 26. The 28-year-old has now tallied at least one hit in six consecutive games, slashing .333/.444/.476 with four RBI, three runs scored, three doubles and a 4:6 BB:K across 27 plate appearances during that span.

Mike Trout DH | LAA
Angels' Mike Trout: Hits 14th homer Sunday
Trout went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's loss to Toronto.
Trout got the Angels on the board with a first-inning solo shot and also reached via a free pass for the fourth straight contest. While the veteran slugger has reached base safely in each of the past 11 games in which he's started, he doesn't have any multi-hit performances during that span, though he's posted a 15:14 BB:K . Trout has played 63 games this season (already more than he played in 2024 or 2021) and is slashing .231/.254/.443 with 14 home runs, 32 RBI, 32 runs and two stolen bases.

Austin Hays LF | CIN
Reds' Austin Hays: Provides lone offense
Hays went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Philadelphia.
Only Hays could solve Phillies right-hander Zack Wheeler, who allowed just the one hit and did not walk a batter. Hays is batting .206 (7-for-34) over nine games since coming off the injured list June 27, but it's been an impactful .206 with three doubles, one triple, two home runs and six RBI.

Randal Grichuk RF | KC
Diamondbacks' Randal Grichuk: Plays against righty
Grichuk started at designated hitter and went 1-for-3 with a double in Sunday's 4-0 loss to Kansas City.
Grichuk typically starts against left-handers but was used against a righty (Michael Lorenzen) in the series finale between the two teams. Arizona's usual DH against righties, Pavin Smith, was placed on the 10-day injured list with an oblique injury. Grichuk could get additional opportunities while Smith is unavailable, but manager Torey Lovullo likes to exploit lefty-righty matchups whenever possible. That means one of the three lefty-hitting outfielders could see time at DH against righties.

Seiya Suzuki DH | CHC
Cubs' Seiya Suzuki: Reaches 25-homer mark
Suzuki went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an RBI double in Sunday's 11-0 win over the Cardinals.
Suzuki continues to extend his career high in homers -- he's now at 25 on the year after his seventh blast in the last 14 games. The 30-year-old also contributed an RBI double in the Cubs' five-run rally in the third inning. Suzuki is up to a .263/.319/.561 slash line, 77 RBI, 48 runs scored, 22 doubles, three triples and two stolen bases over 86 contests as he enjoys a career year in the power categories.

Yandy Diaz DH | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Doubles, scores twice
Diaz went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI in Sunday's extra-inning win over Minnesota.
Diaz started the day 0-for-3 before singling and scoring a run in the eighth inning. He then ripped an RBI double and scored again in the 10th. After six straight games with multiple hits in late June, Diaz has produced four multi-hit performances over his last 11 appearances. The veteran slugger is now slashing .289/.345/.472 with 33 extra-base hits and 52 RBI through 84 games.

Kris Bryant DH | COL
Rockies' Kris Bryant: Exploring treatment plans for back
Bryant (back) said that he will consult with a doctor over the phone Monday before visiting another specialist in Dallas soon thereafter to try "experimental treatments" for his degenerative disk disease, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Bryant said that he's been able to work out and do light hitting, but his back continues to respond poorly when he's attempted to run since getting an ablation procedure May 8. According to Bryant, the only other surgical method for his back would be a fusion procedure that would make it difficult to continue his playing career, so he's understandably looking into alternative treatment plans that would improve his chances of getting back on the field this season. Since signing a seven-year, $182 million contract with the Rockies in March 2022, Bryant has played in just 128 of Colorado's 414 games while batting .244 with 17 home runs, 75 runs and 61 RBI over 712 plate appearances.
