Turner (abdomen) is starting Wednesday against the Nationals, Kirsten Watson of SportsNet LA reports.

Turner missed the last five games due to an abdominal issue, but he'll start at the hot corner and bat fifth during Wednesday's series finale against the Nationals. Over his last seven games, the 37-year-old has hit .375 with two doubles, eight RBI and four runs.

Buxton (knee) went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Brewers.

After getting an injection for his lingering right knee injury following his appearance in the All-Star Game last week, Buxton was cleared to make his second-half debut Tuesday. In addition to occupying his usual spot in center field, Buxton was in top form at the plate, adding two extra-base hits to his ledger. According to Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Buxton will serve as the Twins' designated hitter and No. 3 batter in Wednesday's series finale with Milwaukee, but the 28-year-old isn't believed to have suffered any sort of setback with the knee.

Alvarez went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Athletics.

Alvarez started his second consecutive game since missing Sunday's contest due to a nagging hand injury. He played a role in the team's fourth-inning rally with an RBI double prior to coming around to score. Alvarez may sit a bit more often if his hand continues to bother him, but it hasn't affected his performance as he's hit five home runs while tallying 10 RBI and 14 runs scored across 14 games in July.

Martinez went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the Guardians.

Martinez returned to the starting lineup after missing four games due to back spams. He slotted in at designated hitter and batted cleanup.

Ohtani went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks, a stolen base and two runs scored in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Royals.

Ohtani suffered a bruised knee when he fouled a ball off his leg Monday, but it didn't cost the 28-year-old any playing time. He opened the scoring with a third-inning solo shot, and that was ultimately all the Angels needed as they cruised to victory. While he's gone a pedestrian 4-for-15 across his last four games, three of those hits have gone for extra bases. The two-way superstar is slashing .256/.349/.493 with 21 homers, 58 RBI, 55 runs scored and 11 steals through 404 plate appearances.

Turner (abdomen) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

The Dodgers were hoping Turner would be able to start Tuesday, but he is not ready to do so just yet. He was able to exercise and run pregame, according to David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, so he may be available off the bench and could be ready to get back in the lineup Wednesday.

Pederson is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Pederson finds himself on the bench for the fourth time in the past five games since southpaw Tyler Gilbert is pitching for Arizona. Darin Ruf will man left field and bat third for the Giants on Tuesday.

Winker (ankle) is in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers, according to Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times.

Winker was held out Monday after injuring his ankle the day before, but he will not miss any further action. He will man left field and hit fifth in Seattle's batting order.

Ohtani (knee) is in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Ohtani fouled a ball off his leg in Monday's contest, but it will not wind up costing him any time. He will serve as the designated hitter and lead off for the Angels on Tuesday.

Martinez (back) is batting cleanup as the designated hitter Tuesday versus Cleveland, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

This will be Martinez's first start since the All-Star break, as he's been battling back spasms. It's been a pretty pedestrian month for the veteran DH, as he's hit .254 with seven extra-base hits and 17 strikeouts in 59 at-bats in July.
