Turner went 2-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in an 11-2 win against San Diego on Sunday.

Turner got Los Angeles on the board with a solo home run off San Diego starter Joe Musgrove in the fifth inning and added a grand slam to cap a six-run seventh. The multi-hit effort is the 37-year-old's fifth of September, and he's slashing a robust .375/.447/.875 with four long balls in nine contests this month.

Alvarez went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's win over the Angels.

With a solo shot in the eighth inning, Alvarez snapped a 21-game homerless drought. The long ball was the 25-year-old's 32nd on the season, just one shy of the career high of 33 he set in 2021. Alvarez is slashing .291/.399/.590 in 116 games this season.

Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, two RBI and one run scored in Sunday's loss versus the Astros.

Concerns over a lingering blister resulted in Ohtani being a late addition to the lineup, but that could not keep him from mashing Sunday. He slugged a two-run home run in the top of the first inning, his 34th long ball of the season. The two-way star has four home runs over his last six games and continues to make his case to win his second straight MVP award. He is slashing .266/.355/.539 in 577 plate appearances this season.

Pederson isn't in the lineup Sunday against the Cubs, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Pederson will get a breather for Sunday's series finale since left-hander Wade Miley is on the mound for the Cubs. Austin Dean is starting in left field and batting eighth.

Morel isn't in the lineup Sunday against the Giants.

Morel is getting a breather after he went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts over the last two games. David Bote will take over at the hot corner and bat ninth.

Ohtani (blister) is in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Ohtani was lifted from Saturday's start due to a blister on his right index finger, but he remained in the game as the designated hitter, and he will hit again a day later. It remains to be seen if Ohtani's finger issue will affect the Angels' upcoming pitching plans, but no changes have been announced as of yet.

Vogelbach is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Vogelbach has not started against a left-hander since joining the Mets in late July, so it should come as no surprise that he will work as a reserve with lefty Jesus Luzardo on the bump for the Marlins. Mark Vientos will serve as the Mets' designated hitter Sunday.

Vientos will serve as the designated hitter and hit eighth Sunday in his big-league debut.

Vientos did not see action Saturday after being called up for the first time, but he will make his first start as a major leaguer in the final game of the Mets' series against the Marlins.

Jimenez went 3-for-4 with three RBI in Saturday's 10-2 victory over the Athletics.

Jimenez sent Yoan Moncada home on a fourth-inning sac fly, then picked up two more RBI on a seventh-inning single that set Elvis Andrus and Moncada to the plate. The three-hit outing extended Jimenez's hit streak to five games, a streak that includes four mulit-hit performances. During that span, the young outfielder has picked up three homers, nine RBI and five runs while raising his average from .292 to .314.

Ramirez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, according to Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network.

Ramirez went just 3-for-22 (.136) over his last six games, so manager Kevin Cash decided it was time for a day off. Jonathan Aranda will start at first base Sunday, and Yandy Diaz will serve as the Rays' designated hitter.
