Flores isn't part of the starting nine for Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Flores will yield to Dominic Smith at first base for the second time in three games Monday. Flores has just two hits in his last 20 at-bats, but he owns a 4:3 BB:K during that stretch.

Ohtani allowed one hit and issued one walk while striking out one batter over two scoreless innings in a no-decision against the Royals on Saturday. He also went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts as a batter.

While Ohtani didn't have his highest pitch count of the campaign -- his 27 pitches Saturday were one fewer than he accumulated during his season debut on the mound June 16 -- he took another step forward by tossing more than one inning for the first time as a Dodger. The two-way star also made a strong statement about how far he's come in his recovery from Tommy John surgery by pumping in a 101.7 mph fastball -- the fastest of his career. Ohtani now was three starts under his belt as a pitcher this season, allowing one run on three hits with a 3:1 K:BB over four innings. He'll likely continue to build up gradually, so fantasy managers should still view him as an opener during his turns in the rotation until he gets a longer leash to pitch deeper into games.

Ramirez went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 8-7 victory over Arizona.

Ramirez cracked an RBI double in the first inning and later delivered the game-winning RBI single in the top of the 10th inning to help lift Miami to victory. While the rookie catcher doesn't reach base at a high clip, carrying a .299 OBP with a 6.2 percent walk rate, his power has been a clear strength. Ramirez has racked up 15 doubles and 12 home runs over 57 games for a .478 SLG.

Suzuki went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, an additional run and a triple against the Astros in a 12-3 win Saturday.

Suzuki tripled and scored in the fourth inning and added a two-run homer in the eighth. The 30-year-old outfielder has been racking up extra-base hits this season -- among his 83 total knocks, 44 have gone for extra bases. Suzuki set a career high with his 22nd homer Saturday, and with 69 RBI he's very close to the career-best mark of 74 that he established in 2023.

McCutchen went 2-for-4 with a two-run single and a run scored in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Mets.

McCutchen played a key role in the Pirates' six-run eighth inning, when he drove in a two-run single before coming around to score on a Bryan Reynolds two-run double. McCutchen has reached base safely in nine of his last 11 starts, and over that span he has gone 14-for-47 (.298) with two home runs and five RBI.

Sheets went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and two doubles in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Reds.

Sheets gave the Padres a 6-4 lead in the seventh inning with a 422-foot blast that held up as the game-winning play. It was the 29-year-old's first homer since June 14, and he snapped a 3-for-18 slump over his previous five games. He's now slashing .265/.322/.470 with 13 long balls, 49 RBI, 33 runs scored and one steal across 295 plate appearances in what's shaping up to be a career-best campaign.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that the team plans to have Ohtani pitch into the second inning Saturday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

In both of Ohtani's first two starts, he completed exactly one inning, tossing 28 pitches in the first of those appearances and 18 in the second. Though Roberts stated that Ohtani could get a chance to exceed one frame Saturday, that will likely depend on how hard he has to work in the first inning. It's unlikely that the two-way superstar will go beyond two frames, so he should not be expected to qualify for a win no matter how well he pitches.

Flores went 1-for-4 with an RBI double in Friday's 3-1 win over the White Sox.

Flores drove in the Giants' first run in the third inning with a double to left field. The 33-year-old tallied a much-needed hit after going 0-for-13 over his previous four games entering Friday's matchup. He's now slashing .243/.315/.389 with 55 RBI, 31 runs scored, 11 home runs and one stolen base across 311 plate appearances.

Schwarber went 1-for-4 with two walks, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 13-0 rout of Atlanta.

The veteran slugger crushed a Michael Petersen cutter to right-center field in the third inning, the Phillies' fifth homer of the night and Schwarber's 25th of the season. Three of those long balls have come in the last eight games, a stretch in which he's batting .310 (9-for-29) with two of his seven steals on the year, as well as four RBI and eight runs.

Smith went 1-for-5 with two RBI in Friday's 9-8 loss to Miami.

Smith drew the Diamondbacks closer with a two-run single in the ninth inning, but the comeback stalled there. He's lifted his run production of late, knocking in 10 runs over the last eight games. That's a greater number of RBI than he had in the entire months of May/April or May. For the season, Smith has 27 RBI across 73 contests.
