Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Brewers' Daniel Vogelbach: Slugs solo shot
Vogelbach went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 2-1 extra-inning win over Miami.
Vogelbach opened the scoring in the fourth inning with a solo shot off Miami ace Sandy Alcantara. The long ball was Vogelbach's first since a two-homer game versus Pittsburgh on April 18. The first baseman has three homers, six RBI, nine runs scored and a .194/.293/.347 slash line in 81 plate appearances. He's likely to continue in a part-time role that sees him often sit against left-handed pitching.

Brad Miller DH | SD
Phillies' Brad Miller: Bench duty awaits
Miller is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
Miller headed into the weekend having made four consecutive starts for the Phillies, but he'll be on the bench for the second time in three days as the team closes out the series in Atlanta. The recent returns of Jean Segura from the 10-day injured list and Bryce Harper from a minor wrist injury appear to have pushed Miller back into a reserve role.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Cubs' Joc Pederson: On bench versus lefty
Pederson is not in the lineup Sunday against the Pirates.
Pederson will head to the bench in the series finale with southpaw Tyler Anderson starting for Pittsburgh. Kris Bryant will work in right field while Matt Duffy starts at the hot corner for Chicago on Sunday.

Brandon Belt DH | TOR
Giants' Brandon Belt: Goes deep Saturday
Belt went 2-for-2 with a home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Saturday's win over the Padres.
Belt reached base in his three plate appearances and snapped a short two-game hitless streak with a strong performance that included his seventh homer of the campaign. The first baseman is hitting .291 during the current month while homering three times over his last five contests.

Charlie Blackmon RF | COL
Rockies' Charlie Blackmon: Collects two RBI
Blackmon went 3-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and a run scored during Saturday's 9-8 loss at St. Louis.
The 34-year-old delivered a two-RBI single during the eighth inning and also notched two singles earlier in the contest. Blackmon is 7-for-16 with one home run, seven RBI and three runs across his past four games.

Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Brewers' Daniel Vogelbach: On bench against another lefty
Vogelbach will sit for the second game in a row Saturday against the Marlins.
Vogelbach sat against lefty Trevor Rogers on Friday and remains on the bench against another southpaw (Daniel Castano) Saturday. Fellow lefty Billy McKinney will make another start at first base in his absence.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Cubs' Joc Pederson: Tallies three hits Friday
Pederson went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run in Friday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.
Pederson scored the Cubs' first run of the game on a fielding error in the bottom of the first inning, and he drove in a run with a single to right field in the second. Pederson has now appeared in three games since he returned from the 10-day injured list, and he's gone 4-for-9 with two RBI, two runs and two walks during that time.

Alex Dickerson DH | ATL
Giants' Alex Dickerson: Placed on injured list
Dickerson was placed on the 10-day injured list with a shoulder bone bruise Friday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Dickerson had missed the last two games with a shoulder issue, and he'll now miss additional time after he was diagnosed with a bone bruise. Jarlin Garcia (groin) and Mike Yastrzemski (oblique) were reinstated from the injured list. It's not yet clear when Dickerson will be able to return, but Darin Ruf is starting in left field and batting fourth Friday, and he should see an uptick in playing time while Dickerson is sidelined.
-
Bryce Harper DH | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Returns to lineup
Harper (wrist) will bat third and play right field Friday against Atlanta.
Harper took a pitch off his face and wrist back on April 28 and has appeared in just a single game since then. He attempted to return four days later but aggravated the wrist issue, forcing him to sit for four more days. He's fully cleared again after taking batting practice Thursday and will look to build on a strong start which has seen him post a .317/.446/.598 slash line through 24 games.

Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Brewers' Daniel Vogelbach: Sits against southpaw
Vogelbach is not in the lineup Friday against lefty Trevor Rogers and the Marlins.
The Brewers have faced just four lefties this season, and Vogelbach hasn't been in the lineup against any of them. With Keston Hiura now in the minors, he doesn't have an obvious platoon partner, but it will be fellow lefty Billy McKinney who gets the nod at first base against Rogers.
