Bryant (back/ribs) remained out of the lineup for Monday's game in Philadelphia.

Bryant had to be lifted from Saturday's game versus the Blue Jays due to soreness in his right ribcage and back and he's now missed a second straight start. He is considered day-to-day. Elehuris Montero will be at first base, Michael Toglia is in right field and Charlie Blackmon will be at designated hitter.

Martinez (back) is expected to begin swinging a bat again Monday, and he should resume his minor-league assignment later this week, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

The veteran designated hitter hasn't played for Single-A St. Lucie since April 6 due to back tightness, and he received an injection Tuesday to speed his recovery. Assuming he gets back into the St. Lucie lineup this week, Martinez could be in line to make his Mets debut before the end of the month.

Canario will be recalled from Triple-A Iowa prior to Monday's game in Arizona, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.

The Cubs have yet to make the transaction official, so it's unclear whose spot Canario will be taking on the 26-man active roster. The 23-year-old is off to a nice start with Iowa, slashing .269/.377/.481 with two home runs in 13 contests. Canario will likely operate in a reserve outfielder role during his time with the Cubs.

Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Dodgers.

Machado opened up the scoring with a deep drive to center field in the fourth off James Paxton and later singled and scored in the sixth. Sunday was the first time since April 6 he did not strike out, and he's now riding an eight-game hit streak while slashing .333/.371/.545 with two homers, three RBI and seven runs scored over that span.

Ozuna went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run, a double and four RBI in Sunday's 9-7 win over the Marlins.

Ozuna notched an RBI double in the top of the seventh inning before launching a three-run homer off reliever Tanner Scott in the ninth, giving Atlanta a 9-7 lead. The long ball was his seventh of the season, and the 33-year-old extended his hit streak to 13 games. On the year, Ozuna is batting .373 with the seven homers, 21 RBI and 11 runs scored over 59 at-bats in 14 contests.

Martini went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer, three RBI and two runs scoring during Sunday's 11-4 win over the White Sox.

Martini's two-run blast was his third of the season, while the three hits were a season high. Martini began the season with a bang, hammering two homers in the season opener, but had collected just four more hits prior to Sunday. His outburst raised his average 59 points from .231 to .290.

McCutchen went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, two additional runs scored and a stolen base during Sunday's 9-2 win over the Phillies.

McCutchen notched his first homer of 2024 on Sunday, plating Ke'Bryan Hayes as part of a two-run knock off Ricardo Pinto in the ninth inning. The long ball was the 300th of McCutchen's storied MLB career, and he became the 160th player to reach the milestone. McCutchen has gotten out of the gates slowly in year 16, slashing .194/.326/.333 with a 37.2 percent strikeout rate through nine games.

Soler went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 11-2 win over the Rays.

Soler went seven games without a long ball, and he hit just .125 (3-for-24) with five walks in that span. The designated hitter's power has been there for the Giants so far with three homers through 15 games, but he's batting just .208 with four RBI, nine runs scored, three doubles and a 10:13 BB:K over 64 plate appearances.

Stewart is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Stewart will take a seat to begin Sunday's game while the Royals bring left-hander Cole Ragans to the hill. With Stewart on the bench, Starling Marte will serve as the Mets' designated hitter, and Tyrone Taylor will draw a start in right field.

Bryant was removed in the fourth inning of Saturday's 5-3 loss after experiencing soreness in his right ribs and back, but at this stage, Rockies manager Bud Black isn't expecting the 32-year-old to miss much time, according to the Associated Press. The four-time All-Star's injury stems from when he twisted around and crashed into the outfield wall after making a catch on a deep drive off the bat of Vladimir Guerrero in the first inning. Bryant was able to stay in the game initially and doubled in his at-bat in the second inning, but he struck out in his next at-bat in the fourth inning and was pulled in the bottom of the frame when his back stiffened up. Consider Bryant day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener in Philadelphia.
