Byron Buxton CF | MIN
Twins' Byron Buxton: Remains out with migraines
Buxton (head) has yet to be activated due to a migraine issue, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports Wednesday.
Buxton has been on the 10-day disabled list with a groin issue, but that's not what has been bothering the young outfielder for the past few days. Until the headaches clear up, expect Buxton to remain on the disabled list. The Twins have an off-day Thursday, so chances are he will only miss one or two more games at most.

Kyle Lewis DH | ARI
Mariners' Kyle Lewis: Returns to lineup Wednesday
Lewis (knee) is back in the lineup for High-A Modesto on Wednesday.
Lewis exited Monday with knee soreness, but didn't suffer any structural damage and will be good to go for Wednesday's contest against San Jose. Following a return from knee surgery that he underwent in July of 2016, Lewis is hitting .368/.429/.842 with three home runs and seven RBI in six games for Modesto this season.

Mark Canha LF | TEX
Athletics' Mark Canha: Sets minors milestone Tuesday
Canha went 5-for-5 with four RBI from a solo home run and a three-run blast in Triple-A Nashville's win over Las Vegas on Tuesday. He also doubled and scored twice.
Canha's jaw-dropping performance was also a record-setting one as per Sounds play-by-play announcer Jeff Hem, who noted that the outfielder's five hits tied a Nashville single-game record. The 28-year-old hit just .234 last month after some extensive struggles with the Athletics prompted a demotion to Triple-A on June 9, but he boasts a .333 average with four homers and 17 RBI in 21 July contests.

Byron Buxton CF | MIN
Twins' Byron Buxton: Bothered by migraines
Buxton (groin) has been bothered by migraine headaches recently, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Buxton's groin is reportedly feeling better, but he's not ready to rejoin the Twins due to the fact that he's been afflicted by migraine headaches over the past couple of days. Buxton could potentially return from the DL on Wednesday, but Zack Granite will continue to hold down center field in his absence.

Yordan Alvarez DH | HOU
Astros' Yordan Alvarez: Holding his own at High-A
Alvarez, 20, is batting .289/.370/.461 with one home run, 13 RBI and one steal in 21 games since being promoted to High-A Buies Creek.
Alvarez has shown plate discipline well beyond his years despite the bump in levels. The lefty has almost as many walks (13) as strikeouts (16). The Astros are hopeful that his raw power will turn into home runs down the line. Still, it's Alvarez's advanced approach at the dish which is drawing rave reviews at this time.

Kyle Lewis DH | ARI
Mariners' Kyle Lewis: Lifted with knee soreness
Lewis was removed from Monday's game with High-A Modesto due to knee soreness, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
Though Lewis was forced to exit the game, the team is saying that there is no structural damage to the knee and his removal was simply due to soreness. It sounds like the top prospect won't be sidelined for long, but we'll have to wait for more information to be revealed after he gets reevaluated Tuesday. He'll be listed as day-to-day.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Nearly completes cycle in return to lineup
Jimenez (foot) fell a triple shy of the cycle Sunday with High-A Winston-Salem, finishing the day 5-for-6 with two RBI and two runs scored.
Jimenez left Friday's contest prematurely after fouling a ball off his foot, but it doesn't appear to be having any lingering effects on the top prospect. He's now slashing .452/.514/.806 in nine games with his new organization as he continues to raise his already high prospect stock.

Kyle Lewis DH | ARI
Mariners' Kyle Lewis: Crushes two homers in High-A game
Lewis connected on two home runs and drove in four for High-A Modesto in a game Sunday.
The 2016 first-round pick looks to be back to full strength after knee surgery pushed back the start of his season to June 11, as he's racked up two hits in three consecutive games while homering three times in that span. If the outfielder's knee provides no complications over the final few months of the season, Lewis could rise up prospect lists in the offseason and prepare for an assignment to Double-A Arkansas to begin 2018.

Ji-Man Choi 1B | NYM
Yankees' Ji-Man Choi: Outrighted to minors
Choi was outrighted Sunday to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Choi didn't generate any interest off waivers after he was designated for assignment earlier in the week, so he'll remain in the Yankees organization, though he'll no longer occupy a spot on the 40-man roster. The Yankees decided to keep Garrett Cooper as their backup first baseman over Choi, who went 4-for-15 with two home runs and five RBI during his brief time in the big leagues.

Miguel Cabrera DH | DET
Tigers' Miguel Cabrera: Back in the lineup Sunday
Cabrera (collarbone) is back in the lineup Sunday against the Twins, playing first base and batting fourth, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
Cabrera was hit in the chest by a hard grounder in Friday's game, so the Tigers gave him Saturday off. It appears the injury was a minor one, and the former MVP should be good to go heading into the upcoming week. He'll face off against Twins left-hander Adalberto Mejia on Sunday for the first time in his career.
