Giancarlo Stanton DH | NYY
Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Still no progress
Stanton (knee) is still yet to resume baseball activities, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.
Stanton has been out for over a month with a right knee injury. A variety of injuries have limited him to just nine games all season. His return timeline remains unclear.

AJ Reed DH | HOU
White Sox's AJ Reed: On bench Tuesday
Reed is not starting Tuesday against the Mets.
Reed sits for the second time in three games, following a stretch in which he started five straight. He's hit just .158/.214/.237 in 12 games for the White Sox this season and may not have a particularly long leash given that he's never proven himself at the big-league level.

Byron Buxton CF | MIN
Twins' Byron Buxton: Looking sharp since IL return
Buxton will start in center field and bat eighth Tuesday in Miami.
Buxton typically slots in at the bottom of the order, but he'll move up a spot in the lineup for the first time since April 10 with the Twins deploying the pitcher (Jake Odorizzi) as the No. 9 hitter in the National League park. The more noteworthy development is that Buxton is in the starting nine in center field for the fifth straight game, showing no ill effects of the concussion that sidelined him almost two weeks. In his first four games back in action, Buxton went 6-for-14 with four doubles, four runs and an RBI.

Miguel Cabrera DH | DET
Tigers' Miguel Cabrera: Drives in three against Angels
Cabrera went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and three RBI to help the Tigers to a 7-2 win over the Angels on Monday.
It was a throwback performance from the 36-year-old, who cranked a solo home run in the first inning off Jaime Barria and wound up knocking in three of his team's seven runs for the game. It was good to see him go yard, as the one-time superstar has endured a season-long power outage in 2019 that has seen him hit just six long balls and post a meager .373 slugging percentage.

Ji-Man Choi 1B | NYM
Rays' Ji-Man Choi: Clubs 10th homer
Choi went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Blue Jays.
Choi cleared the fences in the seventh inning, cutting Tampa Bay's deficit to three. The 28-year-old is slashing .260/.350/.410 with 10 homers and 37 RBI over 82 games in 2019.

Jorge Soler DH | LAA
Royals' Jorge Soler: Launches 28th homer
Soler went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-6 win over Cleveland.
Soler tacked on an insurance run with his solo shot off Tyler Clippard, extending his team's lead to 9-5 in the sixth frame. The 27-year-old breakout campaign continues as he's now up to 28 long balls and 73 RBI.

Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Mariners' Daniel Vogelbach: Out against lefty
Vogelbach is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.
Vogelbach will take a seat with the Tigers bringing a tough lefty (Matthew Boyd) to the bump for the series finale. Ryan Court will check in for Vogelbach at first base.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Serving as DH in return
Jimenez (elbow) will serve as the White Sox's designated hitter and will bat fifth Sunday against the Twins.
While Jimenez seems to have nearly moved past the bruised right elbow that required just over a minimum stay on the 10-day injured list, the rookie is still in the midst of completing a throwing program, per James Fegan of The Athletic. As a result, Jimenez will likely be limited to DH duties for a few more days before returning to his usual post in left field. The elbow issue hasn't hindered Jimenez at the plate in recent workouts, so fantasy managers should feel fairly comfortable with keeping him in active lineups heading into the upcoming week.

AJ Reed DH | HOU
White Sox's AJ Reed: Gets uptick in playing time
Reed will start at first base and bat sixth Sunday against the Twins.
Reed will be filling in for a resting Jose Abreu in the series finale, but there should be room for both players in the lineup when the White Sox oppose right-handed pitching. The 26-year-old is making his sixth start in seven games and looks poised to share first base and designated-hitter duties with Abreu for the time being. Reed will need to improve on the .176/.237/.265 batting line he's provided through his first 11 games with the White Sox to stick in a full-time role over the final two months of the season, however.
