Travis d'Arnaud C | LAA
Braves' Travis d'Arnaud: Not in lineup Tuesday
D'Arnaud is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Mets.
Sean Murphy will catch and Marcell Ozuna is serving as Atlanta's designated hitter. D'Arnaud got off to an encouraging start this season, but he has slashed just .231/.286/.333 in 42 plate appearances since returning from the concussion IL nearly a month ago. He's drawn only 10 starts in that timeframe.

Salvador Perez C | KC
Royals' Salvador Perez: Two hits in loss
Perez went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Monday's loss against Miami.
Perez extended Kansas City's lead to 2-0 with an RBI single in the first inning before smacking a leadoff double in the eighth. After struggling the first few weeks of the season, Perez is batting .321 with a .955 OPS over his subsequent 34 games. The 33-year-old veteran has proven he's still one of the better fantasy options behind the plate. Perez is slashing .282/.316/.512 with 12 homers, 28 runs scored and 34 RBI through 228 plate appearances.

Francisco Mejia C | TB
Rays' Francisco Mejia: Two hits in win
Mejia went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Monday's win over the Red Sox.
Mejia is now 5-for-11 in his last three games following a 2-for-20 slump in his previous seven contests. The 27-year-old backstop is slashing .226/.267/.333 with one homer, seven RBI, and 16 runs scored through 101 plate appearances while splitting catching duties with Christian Bethancourt in Tampa Bay.

Nick Fortes C | TB
Marlins' Nick Fortes: Two hits Monday
Fortes went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Monday's win over the Royals.
Fortes is now 12-for-38 (.342) with a .917 OPS in his last 12 games while seeing the majority of reps behind the plate in Miami. While he doesn't offer a ton of power (three home runs), Fortes could be a viable catching option in deeper leagues. He's slashing .250/.302/.333 with 12 RBI, 14 runs scored and three stolen bases through 129 plate appearances this season.

Alejandro Kirk C | TOR
Blue Jays' Alejandro Kirk: Slugs third homer
Kirk went 1-for-4 with his third home run of the season in Monday's loss to the Astros.
His second-inning solo shot off Brandon Bielak didn't end up meaning much for the Blue Jays in an 11-4 rout, but it did snap a 27-game homerless streak for Kirk. The 24-year-old slashed a tepid .259/.308/.294 during his power drought, but with Danny Jansen (groin) still sidelined, Kirk will continue to be leaned on heavily behind the plate.
-
Willson Contreras 1B | BOS
Cardinals' Willson Contreras: Picks up fifth steal
Contreras went 0-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.
Contreras got aboard on an error in the second inning, stole third and scored on a Paul DeJong single. Over his last 11 games, Contreras has gone an awful 2-for-40, though one of those hits was a home run. The prolonged slump has him down to a .211/.296/.358 slash line with five steals, six homers, 26 RBI and 23 runs scored through 56 contests. He could begin to cede some playing time to Andrew Knizner if he can't get his bat going again.

Gary Sanchez DH | MIL
Padres' Gary Sanchez: Continues to produce for new team
Sanchez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk against the Cubs in Monday's 5-0 win.
Sanchez put the Padres on the board in the second inning with a two-run shot to left field. The veteran catcher has logged just 28 at-bats for San Diego so far, but he's already gone deep three times -- one more than fellow backstops Austin Nola and Luis Campusano (thumb) have produced over 128 at-bats combined. Sanchez should have an open path to the primary catcher role for the Padres moving forward given the struggles of Nola in particular.
-
Tyler Stephenson C | CIN
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Goes deep Monday
Stephenson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 2-0 win over Milwaukee.
Offense was scarce in the contest, and Stephenson accounted for one of two total runs with his fourth-inning solo blast. The long ball was his first since May 13, a span of 19 games. Stephenson has struggled since that previous homer, batting .189 with 24 strikeouts and just 14 hits over 74 at-bats.
-
Yainer Diaz C | HOU
Astros' Yainer Diaz: Knocks four hits
Diaz went 4-for-5 with two doubles and a run scored in Monday's win over the Blue Jays.
Diaz has been heating up lately, going 11-for-28 (.393) over his last nine games. In his last four games, he's gone deep twice while adding three doubles. After posting a .536 OPS through 15 games, Diaz is now slashing .284/.300/.486 through 80 plate appearances.

Cesar Salazar C | HOU
Astros' Cesar Salazar: Optioned to Triple-A
Salazar was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday.
As expected, Salazar will head back to Triple-A on Monday, returning to Sugar Land after he went 0-for-7 with three strikeouts in the month of May as the Astros' third catcher. Grae Kessinger had his contract selected from Sugar Land and will replace Salazar on the major-league roster.
