Lee went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base Friday against the Brewers.

Lee extended his hitting streak to a modest four games, though he now has both a home run and a steal in that span. He's maintained a solid .273 average and .728 OPS across 127 plate appearances for the season. While he continues to split time with Martin Maldonado behind the plate, Lee has notably started the last two games at DH, giving him starts in 10 of the team's last 13 games.

Wong is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Tigers, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Wong will take a seat after going 2-for-6 with a double and a run scored over the first two games of the series with Detroit. Reese McGuire will draw the start behind the plate and bat seventh against the Tigers.

Raleigh went 1-for-3 with an RBI sacrifice fly and a run-scoring single in a win over the Angels on Friday.

Raleigh's timely hitting would prove to be essential in a one-run victory, with the backstop bringing home the first run of the game with a sacrifice fly in the opening frame before delivering a fifth-inning knock to plate J.P. Crawford and extend the Mariners' lead to 4-0 at the time. Raleigh had been mired in a 1-for-17 funk over the previous six games, however, and he's recorded just a sole extra-base hit over the 43 plate appearances spanning his last 12 games after lacing 14 over his first 41 contests of the campaign.

The Marlins recalled Pereda from Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.

Pereda has slashed .275/.398/.406 across 83 plate appearances in the minors this season, and he will now come up from Triple-A to give the Marlins additional depth behind the plate while Christian Bethancourt (bereavement) is out. Pereda went 0-for-5 in three games during his first stint in the majors in April.

Langeliers is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta.

Langeliers will get a breather Friday after going 2-for-12 with a two-run home run during Oakland's three-game series with the Rays. Instead, Kyle McCann will bat sixth and fill in behind the dish.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Nationals, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

With Washington sending southpaw Patrick Corbin to the mound for the series opener, the lefty-hitting Naylor will get a break. David Fry will fill in at catcher and bat fifth.

The Mets designated Narvaez for assignment on Friday, Andy Martino of SNY.tv reports.

Narvaez's two years in New York have been a disaster, as he posted a .580 OPS over 49 games in 2023 and has a .154/.191/.185 slash line in 28 games this year. Even with Francisco Alvarez (thumb) not yet back from the injured list, the Mets will look elsewhere for catching depth.

Langeliers went 2-for-5 with a double and a two-run home run in an extra-innings loss to the Rays on Thursday.

Langeliers' 406-foot shot to left-center field in the third inning erased a 3-2 deficit as he left the yard for the second time in the last four games. The 26-year-old backstop's propensity for hard contact continues to serve fantasy managers well and make up for some of his other offensive deficiencies, and Langeliers carries a .768 OPS thanks to his 22 extra-base hits (eight doubles, two triples, 12 home runs).

Caratini went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Thursday's 4-0 win versus Seattle.

Caratini plated the Astros' final two runs in the contest, belting a solo homer in the fifth inning and adding an RBI on a fielder's choice in the sixth. The long ball has his first since the final day of April, and the backup catcher has posted a modest .205 average over 39 at-bats in May. On a positive note, Caratini is registering a career-best 15.0 percent strikeout rate on the campaign.

Jeffers went 2-for-3 with a pair of home runs and three total RBI in Thursday's 7-6 win over Kansas City.

Jeffers got Minnesota on the board with a two-run blast off Daniel Lynch in the fourth inning, cutting the Royals' lead to 4-2, before adding a solo shot in the fifth. The 26-year-old Jeffers is up to 12 homers on the year, just two shy of his career high, though he'd cooled off at the plate following a red-hot start to the year -- he'd gone 13 games without a long ball, going just 5-for-42 (.119) in that span. Overall, Jeffers is slashing .254/.342/.544 through 196 plate appearances with 36 RBI, 25 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases.
