Barnhart is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Giants.

As expected, Barnhart will retreat to the bench after he filled in for a resting Gabriel Moreno in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Mets. Moreno entered the season as the Diamondbacks' clear No. 1 backstop, and Barnhart has done little to change the pecking order behind the plate by hitting just .154 over 52 at-bats.

Kelly is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

Kelly will get a break after he started at catcher in four of the Tigers' previous five games, including Sunday's 8-4 win over the Red Sox. Jake Rogers will step in behind the plate Monday, forming a battery with starting pitcher Tarik Skubal.

Manager Carlos Mendoza said Monday that Alvarez (thumb) won't join the Mets for their two-game series in London with the Phillies this weekend, but the catcher could be ready to return from the 10-day injured list June 11 for the start of the club's homestand, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

On the shelf since April 20 with a fractured left thumb that eventually required surgery, Alvarez is closing in on a return after he initiated a rehab assignment with Double-A Binghamton this past weekend. He made three starts at catcher with Binghamton and went 2-for-8 with a home run and two walks, but the Mets want him to pick up more reps in the minors before he comes off the IL. Alvarez is likely to either stick around at Binghamton or shift his assignment to Triple-A Syracuse in the coming days, and if he escapes without any setbacks, he should settle back in as the Mets' primary backstop beginning next week.

Nido is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

Nido will take a seat for the second day in a row while the Mets give Luis Torrens another turn behind the plate. Since Francisco Alvarez (thumb) landed on the injured list April 20, Nido has taken over as the Mets' primary backstop, but he hasn't offered much to get excited about for fantasy purposes. Through 31 games this season, Nido is hitting .225 with three home runs, zero stolen bases, nine runs and eight RBI.

Caratini went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Twins.

Caratini drew consecutive starts behind the plate for the first time this season and has now started three of Houston's last four games. He has only two hits in that span, though both have left the yard. It's unlikely that Caratini's playing time outlook will change in the long term, though Yainer Diaz hit just .200/.213/.259 across 88 plate appearances in May.

Rutschman went 3-for-5 with one RBI in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Rays.

Rutschman had a brief cold spell a couple of weeks ago, but he's bounced back well. He's hit safely in six straight games, going 9-for-25 (.360) in that span. The catcher is slashing .304/.342/.473 with 10 home runs, 38 RBI, 30 runs scored and one stolen base over 54 contests this season. He was given more regular rest in late May, which may help him stay fresher as the Orioles enter a busy stretch of their schedule.

Kelly went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 8-4, 10-inning win over the Red Sox.

Despite batting ninth, Kelly was able to deliver a solid performance as he extended his hitting streak to seven games. The 29-year-old is splitting time with Jake Rogers behind the plate, with the latter likely to draw the start Monday after Kelly caught all 10 innings Sunday. Both players' fantasy values are capped somewhat by the timeshare, though they can still be useful in deeper formats.

Davis is expected to be called up from Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Corey Crisan of DK Pittsburgh Sports reports.

Davis was sent down May 3 after a disappointing start to the season with the Pirates, but he's slashed .282 with seven home runs, 17 RBI, 18 runs scored and a stolen base over 22 contests at Triple-A. He opened the season as Pittsburgh's primary option at catcher, and he'll likely split time with Yasmani Grandal at backstop once back in the big leagues. Grant Koch stands out as the most likely option to be sent down to Indianapolis in a corresponding move, but nothing is official yet.

Atlanta optioned Tromp to Triple-A Gwinnett following Sunday's 3-1 win over the Athletics.

Tromp has seen limited usage as the No. 2 catcher behind Travis d'Arnaud for much of the season. He recently dropped to third on the depth chart behind Sean Murphy and d'Arnaud and hadn't played at all since Murphy was reinstated from the injured list Monday. The 29-year-old will now head back to Gwinnett to get regular playing time, with Atlanta set to announce a replacement for him on the 26-man active roster prior to Tuesday's series opener in Boston.

Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Realmuto started the first two games of the series and will receive Sunday off after going 0-for-8 with four strikeouts and a run scored. Garrett Stubbs will step in behind the plate and bat eighth.
