McCann went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks.

McCann has just 11 hits and a .157 average this season, but he's gone deep seven times. Locked into a timeshare with Alex Avila, McCann provides a little bit of fantasy value due simply to his power potential whenever he's in the lineup.

Narvaez was inserted into Tuesday's starting lineup after Geovany Soto was scratched due to elbow soreness. He walked twice and scored a run in a 7-2 loss to the Twins.

This is the second flareup of elbow soreness for Soto, who spent some time on the disabled list back in April with inflammation. Narvaez will become the primary catcher for the White Sox until Soto gets past the elbow woes.

Grandal stayed hot at the plate Tuesday, going 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 4-3 win over the Pirates.

After a slow start to the season, Grandal has picked things up of late, batting .370 (10-for-27) with a homer and six RBI over his last six contests. The switch-hitting catcher has proven to be a streaky hitter in the past and he appears to be locked in at the plate right now.

Perez went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer, two walks, two RBI and two runs against the Rays on Tuesday.

He's shown plenty of thump in the bat this year, rewarding fantasy owners with seven homers and 18 RBI already, although this one was his first of May. There's no reason to think that Perez won't remain among the most productive catchers all season long, as he's been a reliable source of both health and pop for years.

Gomes went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's win over Toronto, with two runs scored and a walk.

Following his off day Monday, Gomes hit a bomb in the eighth inning to extend the Cleveland lead to six and essentially put the game on ice. He is now 7 for his last 16 at the dish, and has drawn praise recently from manager Terry Francona for his approach at the plate. His .269 BABIP suggests he's had a little bit of bad luck in the first month; he should continue to make strides statistically as the season progresses.

Vazquez is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Brewers, Tim Britton of the Providence Journal reports.

Vazquez has just one hit over the last four games (1-for-14), so he'll head to the bench to clear his head as Sandy Leon gets the nod behind the dish. Vazquez, known more for his defensive skills, is still off to a healthy start at the plate this season, slashing .333/.362/.467 through 29 games.

Realmuto is batting leadoff Tuesday against the Cardinals, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

The Marlins are trying to shake the order up to produce some runs, so they'll send Realmuto and his .317 batting average to the top of the order. He could be in line for a few more runs Tuesday while he's hitting ahead of Christian Yelich, Marcell Ozuna and Giancarlo Stanton.

Contreras is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Rockies.

The Cubs are going with the exact same lineup they had for Monday's game, which got rained out. Miguel Montero will start at catcher and hit fifth against righty Antonio Senzatela. Look for Contreras to be back in the fold for the night game against southpaw Kyle Freeland.

Ohlman, who was called up to fill the shoes of Russell Martin (shoulder) on Monday, received praise from manager John Gibbons upon arriving in Toronto, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.

Over eight-plus minor-league seasons, the 26-year-old hit .260/.348/.395 while never seeing big-league action during that time. Through 23 games this year with Triple-A Buffalo, Ohlman hit seven homers en route to a career-best .594 slugging percentage. "I like the way he caught the ball [in Buffalo] and I really liked the way he swung the bat," Gibbons said. "He's a big dude, a big strong guy who looks like he can hit." This opportunity might be Ohlman's one and only chance at sticking in the big leagues. "Here's his break," added Gibbons. "You sign guys as minor-league free agent and you don't always anticipate they're going to get a shot. But you give a guy an opportunity and who knows what happens?" Although Martin isn't expected to be out terribly long, the backup to him is far from a sure thing -- Luke Maile currently owns the gig after Jarrod Saltamacchia was cut loose last week. If Ohlman can put forth an impressive effort during the next week or so, then he could certainly steal the reserve role from Maile.

Grandal slugged two Opening Day home runs, but he hasn't done a whole lot since, and he's slashing only .225/.307/.382. The switch-hitting backstop is known as a streaky batter, though, and while he doesn't make consistent contact, he remains one of the more attractive fantasy catchers because of his 20-homer potential.
