Grandal went 1-for-5 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Mariners.

Grandal led off for the third time in as many starts, responding with his second homer in that span. He now has 18 long balls on the season, putting him on pace to well outdo his career-best mark of 27 in a campaign. He's maintaining a .272/.380/.549 line across 297 plate appearances, and could see a big spike in runs scored if he continues to stick in the leadoff spot.

Garver went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, three RBI and two runs in a 9-4 victory against the Rays on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old hadn't played since leaving Thursday's contest because of a sore left heel, but he looked very good Tuesday. Garver came into the night batting .207 (6-for-29) in the previous seven games, so it's possible the rest may have even done him some good mentally. Garver is batting .305 with 12 home runs, 31 RBI and 29 runs in 131 at-bats this season.

Gomes is not starting Tuesday against Miami.

Gomes sits for the fourth time in the last six games. Kurt Suzuki gets the start behind the plate in his absence.

Contreras went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's 8-3 win over the Braves.

Contreras' second-inning solo shot -- his 16th of the season -- didn't come without drama. His counterpart at catcher, Tyler Flowers, took offense to Contreras' celebration, resulting in a dugout-clearing incident after the two catchers exchanged words when Contreras crossed home plate. The verbal spat fortunately didn't result in an ejection for Contreras, who plated two more runs to give him 45 RBI on the season, tying him for second place among all catchers in the majors. He'll be back behind the dish for the second game of the series Tuesday.

McCann is starting at designated hitter and batting cleanup Tuesday against the Red Sox, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

He has continued to swing a hot bat, with three home runs and an .875 OPS in June and back-to-back two-hit games on his ledger. Even with Zack Collins getting the start at catcher, McCann is on too much of a heater to send to the pine.

McCann is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Red Sox, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Collins will start at catcher Tuesday against the Red Sox, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

This will be Collins' second big-league start at catcher and third overall for the White Sox. He's being tasked with guiding the team through a bullpen game that begins with reliever Carson Fulmer.

Jansen is not starting Monday against the Yankees.

Jansen and Luke Maile have alternated starts behind the plate over the last six games. Maile will take his turn Monday.

Nido went 1-for-2 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Cubs.

The 25-year-old backup to Wilson Ramos has seen an uptick in his playing time recently, starting four of the last eight games, but Nido's .227/.250/.379 slash line on the year with three homers and seven RBI still doesn't make him much of a fantasy asset. It would likely take a Ramos injury to get Nido on the radar in most formats.
