Garver (groin) will likely be reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the White Sox, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Garver has rejoined the team in Chicago, but he isn't starting in Monday's matinee. However, manager Rocco Baldelli is optimistic that the 30-year-old will be back in the lineup for the second game. Baldelli said Sunday that Garver is feeling "really good" after he went 4-for-16 during his four-game rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul.

Haase (head) is starting Monday's game against the Rangers.

Haase was struck in the head by a fastball in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader and sat out Sunday as a result, but he avoided a concussion and will serve as the designated hitter in Monday's series opener against Texas. In his two games since the All-Star break, the 28-year-old has gone 0-for-5 with a strikeout.

Barnhart is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.

Barnhart has the playing-time edge over Tyler Stephenson overall, starting 59 games behind the plate to Stephenson's 35 (with Stephenson starting an additional 13 at first base), but the pair appear to be converging lately. They've alternated starts over the last six games, which could mean Barnhart starts Tuesday before retreating to the bench again Wednesday.

Collins will sit for the second straight game in the first half of Monday's doubleheader against Minnesota.

The consecutive games on the bench likely don't represent a significant downturn in playing time for Collins, as he was never expected to start twice in one day. Seby Zavala will be behind the plate for the afternoon game, but Collins should return to the lineup for the nightcap.

Zavala will start at catcher and bat ninth Monday in the first game of a doubleheader with the Twins.

Zavala will be behind the dish for the second game in a row after he went 0-for-2 in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Astros. The 27-year-old will presumably bow out of the lineup for the second half of the doubleheader in favor of Zack Collins, who still appears locked in as Chicago's No. 1 catcher while Yasmani Grandal (knee) is sidelined.

Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said Sunday that Haase isn't experiencing any concussion symptoms after being struck in the head by a Hansel Robles fastball in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader with the Twins, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports. "He's fine...his spirits are great," Hinch said of Haase.

Haase was pulled from the game after taking his base and proceeded to sit out Sunday's 7-0 win, but he doesn't look like he'll be at risk of landing on the injured list. The Tigers didn't call up another catcher to back up Jake Rogers on Sunday, which offered additional evidence that Haase's head injury isn't a concern.

Realmuto went 4-for-10 with a home run and four RBI between the Phillies' two games against the Marlins on Sunday.

The Phillies and Marlins didn't play a true doubleheader Sunday, as the first contest was a resumption of Saturday's game, which was suspended in the top of the 10th inning due to inclement weather. With the game tied 2-2 in the bottom of the 10th, Realmuto stepped up and provided a walkoff two-run home run, his ninth of the season. He then started behind the plate in Sunday's scheduled game and proceeded to rap out three base hits and drive in two more runs in the Phillies' 7-4 win. Realmuto has now reached base in each of his last 11 games, slashing .349/.429/.581 with two home runs and a stolen base over that stretch.

Heim started the second game of Sunday's doubleheader and went 1-for-3 in a 10-0 loss to the Blue Jays.

It was a nice weekend for Heim, who became the first Buffalo-born major-leaguer to play in the city since 1890. He had two hits in seven trips over two games in front of family and friends. With news that Jose Trevino (forearm) could return from a rehab assignment by the coming weekend, Heim should still be good for multiple starts this week.

Trevino (forearm) could be back with the Rangers by July 24 or 25.

Trevino is in "fine" health according to manager Chris Woodward, who wants the injured catcher to build up at-bats while rehabbing at Double-A Frisco. He has appeared in three games for the RoughRiders and has three hits (two doubles), a walk, an RBI and two runs over 11 plate appearances. Jonah Heim is the primary catcher for Texas while Trevino is unavailable.

Vazquez won't play Monday against the Blue Jays after he took a foul tip off his right knee in Sunday's 9-1 loss to the Yankees, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Vazquez felt stiff and sore after Sunday's contest, so he doesn't expect to be in the lineup in Monday's series opener. However, the backstop is hopeful that he'll be able to return to action Tuesday after a day off. Kevin Plawecki could take over behind the dish Monday.
