Heim was reinstated from the COVID-19 list prior to Tuesday's game against the Rockies.

Heim's stay on the COVID IL ends after exactly a week. The backstop had established himself as Texas' primary catcher prior to being sidelined, and he figures to continue getting the majority of the starts behind the plate during the season's final month. He's set to catch for Jordan Lyles and bat seventh Tuesday.

Realmuto (ankle/shoulder) remains absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

Realmuto has been banged up lately, missing Saturday's game with a shoulder issue and leaving Sunday's with ankle soreness. He missed Monday's game while nursing both injuries, and while the Phillies hoped he'd be back in the lineup Tuesday, he'll wind up missing at least one more game. Rafael Marchan will start behind the plate in Realmuto's absence while Matt Vierling starts at first base, the spot Realmuto is expected to occupy frequently down the stretch.

Jeffers is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cubs.

Jeffers is likely just receiving some routine maintenance after he caught each of the Twins' last six games. No. 2 backstop Ben Rortvedt will get a turn behind the dish while Jeffers rests.

Cleveland sent Perez (shoulder) to Double-A Akron on Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment.

Perez has been on the injured list since Aug. 6 with an inflamed right shoulder, so he'll likely need at least a couple games in the minors to get his conditioning in order and his timing back at the plate. Once reinstated from the IL, Perez will likely work in a timeshare at catcher with Austin Hedges.

Nido was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a left thumb sprain, Mike Mayer of Metsmerized reports.

He had just returned from the 10-day injured list Friday from the exact same injury, so he may have aggravated his thumb in that first game back. Chance Sisco was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse to serve as the backup catcher behind Patrick Mazeika until James McCann (back) returns from the IL.

Narvaez went 1-for-4 with one RBI and a run scored in Monday's 3-1 win over the Giants.

Narvaez singled in the first inning, driving in Christian Yelich for the first run of the game. He later scored in the eighth inning on a sacrifice fly by Luis Urias. The catcher is batting .262 in the month of August with 11 RBI and 11 runs. He is among the MLB leaders in batting average (.284) and runs scored (49) for catchers.

Smith went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a strikeout in Monday's 5-3 win over Atlanta.

Smith smacked a solo home run to left in the second inning and added a single in the eighth. The two hits give the backstop his third multi-hit outing in his last four games, a stretch that's seen Smith go 8-for-15 with three home runs.

Raleigh isn't in the lineup Monday against the Astros.

Raleigh went 1-for-6 with an RBI, a walk and two strikeouts across the last two games and will get a day off Monday. Tom Murphy will start at catcher and bat ninth.

Gomes went 2-for-4 with a run in a win over the Yankees on Sunday.

The veteran backstop has hit safely in five of his last six starts, a span during which he's now recorded a trio of multi-hit efforts. Gomes is a more complete offensive player than fellow catcher Sean Murphy, but both should continue to see regular playing time, with the latter occasionally slotting in as a designated hitter as well.

Realmuto (ankle) will sit Monday against Washington.

Realmuto missed Saturday's game due to a shoulder issue and left Sunday's contest with a sore ankle. He'll get the day off to recover from both injuries, with Rafael Marchan starting behind the plate. The Phillies don't expect Realmuto to require a trip to the injured list, per Todd Zolecki of MLB.com. He could be available to pinch hit Monday and is expected to return to the lineup at first base Tuesday.
