Francisco Mejia C | TB
Rays' Francisco Mejia: Out of lineup
Mejia will sit Saturday against the Tigers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Mejia returned from a shoulder injury Friday and went 0-for-3 with a pair of walks. He won't be asked to start on consecutive days right away, so Christian Bethancourt will take over behind the plate.

Martin Maldonado C | SD
Astros' Martin Maldonado: Splitting time with Vazquez
Maldonado went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored Friday against the Guardians.
Despite Houston's acquisition of Christian Vazquez, Maldonado has been in the lineup for three of the last four games. He's been productive in that span, driving in four, scoring three runs and recording a home run and double. Even so, Maldonado is hitting only .184/.245/.360 across 276 plate appearances for the season, and he's likely to lose playing time in the near future.

Max Stassi C | SF
Angels' Max Stassi: Goes deep Friday
Stassi went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's extra-inning win over Seattle.
Stassi blasted a two-run shot in the top of the ninth inning to give the Angels a 3-0 lead. The long ball proved to be crucial, as Seattle came back for three runs in the bottom of the frame but ultimately lost in the 10th. The long ball was the second since the All-Star break for Stassi, who is slashing .256/.302/.513 with seven RBI and five runs over 12 second-half contests.

Tyler Stephenson C | CIN
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Likely done for season
Stephenson isn't expected to return this season after undergoing surgery to stabilize his fractured right collarbone Thursday, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Stephenson will be eligible to return from the 60-day injured list for the final two weeks of the season, but that was reportedly a long shot even before his surgery. The Reds haven't officially ruled him out for the remainder of the year, but the team has little incentive to rush him in a lost season and seems content to let him rest and heal. With Aramis Garcia (finger) also out, the Reds are going with Michael Papierski and Austin Romine behind the plate.

Jacob Stallings C | BAL
Marlins' Jacob Stallings: Sitting Saturday
Stallings will be on the bench Saturday against the Cubs, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Stallings has disappointed at the plate this season, posting a .529 OPS after three straight years in which he finished with an OPS north of .700. Nick Fortes will get the start behind the plate Saturday.

J.T. Realmuto C | PHI
Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Clubs 11th homer
Realmuto went 3-for-4 with a triple, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 7-2 win over the Nationals.
All the Phillies' big-name sluggers went yard on a night in which the team launched five homers in total, but it was Realmuto who had the best effort overall, coming a double short of a cycle. The catcher has seven multi-hit performances in his last 16 games, a stretch in which he's batting a blistering .393 (22-for-56) to push his slash line on the year up to .263/.336/.428 with 11 homers, 13 steals, 49 runs and 49 RBI through 91 contests.

Adley Rutschman C | BOS
Orioles' Adley Rutschman: Picks up second steal
Rutschman went 0-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in Friday's 1-0 win over the Pirates.
The rookie catcher was able to turn his patience into some fantasy value even without the benefit of a hit, snatching his second big-league stolen base. Rutschman has been locked in since the All-Star break, slashing .357/.526/.524 through his last 13 games with a 13:8 BB:K, seven doubles, three RBI and 10 runs. The 24-year-old hasn't quite unlocked all of his power potential yet, but he's well on his way to living up to the hype as the first overall pick in the 2019 Draft.

Salvador Perez DH | KC
Royals' Salvador Perez: Crushes another homer
Perez went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and three strikeouts in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Red Sox.
Since his return from the injured list July 29, Perez has crushed five homers and a double while racking up 14 RBI in eight contests. Despite the power surge, he's batting just .242 (8-for-33) since his return. For the season, he owns a .215/.252/.465 slash line with 16 homers, 48 RBI and 30 runs scored, but he's striking out at a career-worst 28.1 percent rate.
