Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Homers in loss
Realmuto went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and a double in Sunday's 11-2 loss to San Francisco.
Realmuto did his best to carry the Phillies' offense Sunday, driving in the team's only two runs and collecting three of their four hits in the loss. It was his third homer of the month and first since June 8. The star catcher has seven home runs this season with 29 RBI and an .888 OPS.

William Contreras C | MIL
Braves' William Contreras: Not starting Game 2
Contreras isn't in the lineup for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.
Contreras was behind the dish during the first game in the twin bill, and he went 0-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout. Kevan Smith will start at catcher and bat eighth in the nightcap.

Elias Diaz C | KC
Rockies' Elias Diaz: Sitting Sunday
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.
Diaz will give way to Dom Nunez in the series finale, but the former seems to be benefiting from the larger share of playing time at catcher lately. Before sitting Sunday, Diaz started behind the plate in four of the Rockies' last six games.

Will Smith C | LAD
Dodgers' Will Smith: Stars offensively Saturday
Smith went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and a walk in Saturday's 9-3 victory over the Diamondbacks.
Smith put the Dodgers on the board in the first inning, plating a pair of runs with a 367-foot homer to right field. He collected two more base knocks in the contest for his second three-hit performance of the season. Smith has gone deep three times in his past seven games, slashing .333/.462/.857 with six RBI and only two strikeouts over that span.

Omar Narvaez C | HOU
Brewers' Omar Narvaez: Not starting Saturday
Narvaez isn't starting Saturday's game against the Rockies.
Narvaez started each of the last two contests and went 1-for-6 with a double, two runs, three walks and two strikeouts. Manny Pina will start behind the plate and bat fifth.

Victor Caratini C | MIN
Padres' Victor Caratini: On bench Saturday
Caratini is not starting Saturday's game against the Reds, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
The switch-hitting catcher rests after consecutive successful days at the plate, launching a walk-off homer and going 2-for-4 Thursday before walking three times Friday. Webster Rivas fills in behind the plate Saturday.
-
Tucker Barnhart C | TEX
Reds' Tucker Barnhart: Not in Saturday's lineup
Barnhart will sit Saturday against San Diego, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Barnhart has remained the primary catcher in Cincinnati despite rookie Tyler Stephenson, who starts Saturday, emerging to produce a .791 OPS. Barnhart owns a solid .749 OPS himself, so there's no reason to believe the hierarchy is about to be overturned.
-

Stallings isn't starting Saturday against Cleveland.
Stallings will get a breather after he went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs, two RBI and a walk across the last two games. Michael Perez will start behind the dish and bat eighth.

He's hitting .294 with three extra-base hits in his last four starts. Prior to then, Stallings was mired in a 7-for-48 slump. For the season, the catcher is slashing .230/.320/.402 with five homers, 28 RBI and a 22:37 BB:K.
