Hernandez was outrighted to Triple-A Pawtucket on Wednesday.

He passed through waivers and will serve as organizational catching depth going forward.

Nola went 2-for-4 with a double and a run in a win over the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Nola continued the strong start to his big-league career with his second straight multi-hit effort. The rookie is now an impressive 7-for-17 with Tuesday's two-bagger, a home run, two RBI and four runs overall since his promotion June 16. With the Mariners essentially devoid of postseason aspirations this season, he could continue earning time at the big-league level as the season unfolds.

Jansen went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two RBI and two runs in Tuesday's loss to the Red Sox.

The catcher only has five homers on the year, but three of them have come in his last five starts. Jansen's .196/.273/.314 slash line remains poor, but he's at least building up some momentum heading into the second half.

Narvaez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a victory against the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Narvaez ended the night of Cardinals starter Jack Flaherty with his 389-foot blast in the fifth inning. The strong start to July bodes well for another productive month in Narvaez's consistent season; he has hit at least .282 with exactly three homers in each full month thus far in 2019. Overall, the Venezuelan catcher is slashing .292/.365/.471 with 12 homers and 31 RBI in his finest season as a pro.

Vazquez went 3-for-5 with a double, home run, two RBI and three runs in a 10-6 victory against the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old has hit home runs on multiple continents in the last few days. He is 5-for-10 (.500) with two homers and five RBI in the last two games, the first of which was in London on Sunday. This mini-hot streak has raised his average to .296 and his slugging percentage to .502. He also has 12 homers, 36 RBI, 34 runs and a stolen base in 233 at-bats this season.

Sanchez (thumb) will bat cleanup and start behind the plate Tuesday against the Mets, Zach Braziller or the New York Post reports.

Sanchez left Sunday's game against the Red Sox in the ninth inning with a jammed thumb, but the injury evidently wasn't particularly serious, and he won't wind up missing any time.

Hernandez was designated for assignment Tuesday.

Hernandez has struggled at Triple-A Pawtucket this season, slashing .188/.250/.290 with a homer and three RBI over 23 contests. As a result, he's been removed from the 40-man roster to make room for the addition of Trevor Kelley.

Garver is not starting Tuesday against Oakland.

Garver sits for the third time in four games. He finished June with a respectable .724 OPS, a fine number for a catcher but far below the 1.161 mark he posted in March and April and his 1.166 OPS in the month of May. Jason Castro starts behind the plate in his absence.

Bemboom (knee) is 4-for-8 with two RBI and two runs over his last two rehab games.

Not only has Bemboom's performance with the bat been encouraging recently, but it's worth noting he generated a portion of that production at Triple-A Durham on Monday after beginning his rehab in the Gulf Coast League. Furthermore, Bemboom caught a full seven innings Monday, the highest workload of his rehab assignment thus far and a good sign for the health of his recovering knee.

Vazquez went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, three RBI and two runs in a 12-8 loss against the Yankees on Sunday.

London Stadium was friendly for power hitters this weekend, but Vazquez has been displaying a good slugging percentage all season. He already has 11 homers this year, which is more than what he had in his career coming into 2019. Vazquez is also batting .289 with a .482 slugging percentage, 21 extra-base hits, 34 RBI, 31 runs and one steal in 228 at-bats this season.
