Sanchez was removed from Sunday's 12-8 win over the Red Sox in the ninth inning after jamming his left thumb on a pitch in the bottom of the eighth, Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Sanchez went 1-for-5 with a walk, a run and two RBI before departing in favor of Austin Romine for the final frame. The 26-year-old told reporters after the contest that he isn't worried about the injury, but he'll wait and see how his thumb feels prior to Tuesday's series opener against the Mets before committing to playing.

Jansen is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Jansen will take a seat after starting each of the past four games behind the dish. The backstop is riding a five-game hitting streak during which he's gone 7-for-17 with a pair of home runs, a double and six RBI. That'll be enough for Jansen to maintain the larger portion of the timeshare at catcher with Luke Maile.

Jansen went 1-for-4 with a walkoff two-run homer in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Royals.

Jansen came to the plate with one out in the ninth inning and came through on a full count for the Blue Jays. The 24-year-old has struggled this season with a .560 OPS, but he's looked better in June with a .246/.328/.404 slash line in 18 games.

D'Arnaud went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in a 5-2 victory over the Rangers on Saturday.

The veteran catcher is having a rough year, but he is back above the Mendoza Line after two hits Saturday. Since joining the Rays at the beginning of May, d'Arnaud has been performing a little bit better too, batting .235 with nine extra-base hits in 98 at-bats. Overall, he's hitting .205 with five home runs, 19 RBI and 18 runs in 122 at-bats this year.

Perez is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles.

Perez started the last four games behind the plate, but he will be held out Saturday with the Indians playing a day game following a night game. Kevin Plawecki will get the start behind the plate in Perez's place.

Nola went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in an extra-inning loss to the Astros on Friday.

Nola launched a third-inning Wade Miley offering 360 feet to left for his first career round tripper and the first run of the contest for either club. The rookie was drawing his fourth start overall since his June 16 promotion and is now 5-for-13 with Friday's homer, two RBI, a walk and three runs over 11 games with the Mariners.

McCann went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in a 6-4 victory over the Twins on Friday.

The 29-year-old continues to be one of the most pleasant surprises in baseball this season. He has hits in nine of his last 10 games, going 14-for-37 (.378) with five home runs during that stretch. Overall, McCann is batting .327 with nine homers, 27 RBI, 36 runs and four stolen bases in 202 at-bats this season.

Bemboom (knee) caught five innings and went 0-for-1 with two walks and a run for the GCL Rays on Friday. He was also charged with two passed balls behind the dish.

Bemboom was more productive at the plate than in his rehab debut Wednesday, but he had a rough night defensively. The backstop has now caught five innings apiece in each of his first two minor-league contests, and he's slated to ramp up his activity level in coming games.

Narvaez is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Astros, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Narvaez will head to the bench for the second straight game in the series opener at Houston. The 27-year-old has a .908 OPS in his last 19 games, but Tom Murphy will start behind the plate again Friday for the Mariners.

Narvaez is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Brewers, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Narvaez will head to the bench for maintenance purposes with the Mariners and Brewers concluding their series with a day game after a night game. Tom Murphy will handle the catching duties for Seattle and bat sixth.
