Moreno is slashing .319/.340/.538 through 22 games in July for Low-A Lansing.

The Jays' No. 12 fantasy prospect has emerged as a legitimate prospect this season in his first exposure to full-season ball. Moreno's strong performance at the plate goes beyond his triple slash -- he's struck out in only 8.2 percent of his July plate appearances, and 13 of his 29 hits on the month have gone for extra bases (nine doubles, a triple and three homers). The 19-year-old is even showing solid defensive skills, throwing out 32.6 percent of would-be base stealers. Given his age and limited experience behind the plate, the club won't rush him up the ladder, but another impressive campaign in 2020 could get him up to Double-A by the end of the year.

Rogers will have his contract selected from Triple-A Toledo prior to Tuesday's game against the Angels, Anthony French of the Detroit Free Press reports.

The Tigers are expected to waive Bobby Wilson on Tuesday afternoon, clearing the way for Rogers to step in as the team's starting backstop. Though he hasn't been overly impressive at the dish for the Mud Hens this season (.223/.321/.458 slash line over 48 games), he is viewed as one of the best defensive catching prospects in the game. The hope is that he will hit for some power, even if he never posts particularly high batting averages.

Thaiss went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI during Sunday's 5-4 win over the Orioles.

Thaiss opened the scoring with a two-run home run in the second inning and ended the game with a walkoff solo shot in the bottom of the ninth. This effort doubled the season home run total for Thaiss, who had just two hits in his previous six games coming in. With that said, he has still yet to establish himself as a regular fantasy contributor.

D'Arnaud went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Blue Jays.

D'Arnaud drove in a pair of runs during the sixth inning on a double to left field, cutting Toronto's lead to five runs. The 30-year-old has been red-hot at the plate recently, registering six homers and 19 RBI over his last 11 contests. He'll aim to keep it rolling heading into his squad's upcoming road series with the Red Sox, which is slated to begin Tuesday.

Vazquez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

Vazquez will get a well-deserved breather after handling catching duties in each of Boston's previous four games. Sandy Leon will step in behind the plate for the series finale in Boston, catching for Chris Sale.

Narvaez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

He'll be getting a routine off day while Tom Murphy fills in behind the dish. Narvaez rapped out four singles in Saturday's 8-1 triumph, giving him five multi-hit performances thus far in July.

Thaiss will start at third base and bat eighth Sunday against the Orioles, Maria Torres of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Thaiss's playing time had been trending down at the start of the second half, but he'll pick up his fourth consecutive start at either corner-infield spot in the series finale. The matchup with Baltimore's lowly pitching staff has woken Thaiss's dormant bat up to some extent this weekend, as he's gone 2-for-8 with a home run and a pair of walks in the first three games of the series.

Gallagher is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Indians.

He'll head to the bench for a routine rest after starting the past two games behind the plate. Meibrys Viloria will handle catching duties in the series finale.

McCann is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

McCann will effectively benefit from two off days in a row with the White Sox having an open date in the schedule Monday before returning to action Tuesday against the Mets. With 66 starts at catcher and eight appearances as a designated hitter this season, McCann has shouldered one of the heavier workloads among all MLB backstops. While McCann will continue to work as the No. 1 catcher ahead of Welington Castillo, manager Rick Renteria suggested Sunday that the White Sox would look to reduce McCann's overall starting load during the final two months of the season, per James Fegan of The Athletic.

Garver is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Stuck in an 0-for-12 rut at the plate over his last three starts, Garver will give way to Jason Castro at catcher in the series finale. Garver will likely re-enter the starting nine for Tuesday's series opener in Miami.
