Maldonado went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored Monday against the Brewers.

Maldonado took Corbin Burnes deep in the second inning to tally his third homer of the season. While he's not known for his bat, he does have at least one hit in 12 of his last 15 games, a span in which he's maintained a .319 average with five RBI and six runs scored. Maldonado's track record suggests that level of success at the plate will not continue, though he should continue to be a regular in the lineup thanks to his strong defense.

Garver (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Texas manager Bruce Bochy said Garver will serve as the designated hitter the first two games, then the plan is to have him catch the third game. The planned length of Garver's rehab assignment isn't yet known.

Raleigh went 1-for-5 with one RBI and a run scored in Monday's 11-2 win over the Athletics.

Raleigh missed both of the Mariners' games over the weekend while dealing with neck spasms. Even with the blowout, he caught all nine innings, so he should be good to go in his usual role. The power-hitting catcher has hit safely in six of his last seven games and is slashing .232/.321/.449 with seven home runs, 23 RBI, 24 runs scored, seven doubles and a triple through 156 plate appearances this season.

Raleigh (neck) is back in the Mariners' lineup for Monday's game against the Athletics, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Raleigh missed a couple games with neck spasms but is feeling well enough to give it a go in this one. He will catch Luis Castillo and bat sixth.

Naylor was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Monday, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.

Naylor will head back to Columbus after he went 0-for-2 during Sunday's doubleheader with the Mets. The 23-year-old will certainly earn another shot in the big leagues later this season as he's batting .257 with nine homers, 32 RBI and 29 runs over 148 at-bats in 41 games with Columbus this year.

Vazquez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Angels, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Vazquez is 6-for-17 in his past four games but has just a .433 OPS in May, and he'll take a seat for Sunday's series finale in Anaheim. Ryan Jeffers will work behind the plate and bat ninth.

Thaiss is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Thaiss will take a seat for the second time in three games with Chad Wallach starting at catcher and hitting eighth against Minnesota on Sunday.

Wong is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's finale against the Padres.

Wong will grab a seat on the bench after going 1-for-4 in each of the first two games against San Diego. Reese McGuire will handle backstop duties while hitting ninth.

Perez went 3-for-4 with a double and solo home run in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the White Sox.

Perez's solo shot in the first was the only scoring for Kansas City on Saturday. The veteran catcher added a single in the fourth and double in the sixth, marking his third multi-hit game this season. Perez remains one of the best offensive catchers in MLB during his age-33 season and is slashing .288/.330/.540 with 10 home runs and 26 RBI across 42 games (176 plate appearances).

Mariners manager Scott Servais told reporters that Raleigh is currently out of the lineup while dealing with neck spasms, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Raleigh has been out of the lineup the last two games. Servais told reporters that he's unsure if the catcher will be available off the bench. Tom Murphy will get the starts behind the plate while Raleigh recovers.
