Ali Sanchez C | BOS
Red Sox's Ali Sanchez: Back with Boston
The Red Sox acquired Sanchez from the Mets on Sunday in exchange for cash.
Sanchez had been on a minor-league deal with the Mets after signing with the organization Aug. 23, but he'll end up joining the Red Sox's 28-man active roster after being dealt back to Boston, per Tim Healey of The Boston Globe. The Red Sox had previously claimed the 28-year-old backstop off waivers from Toronto on Aug. 8, and he appeared in one game for the big club before being cast off the 40-man roster. He won't be in line for much playing time in September as the Red Sox's No. 3 catcher behind Carlos Narvaez and Connor Wong.

Jake Rogers C | DET
Tigers' Jake Rogers: Plates two in win
Rogers went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 5-0 victory over the Royals.
The Detroit backstop started his 34th game of the season and drove home two with his sixth career triple in the fifth inning. Rogers is not a viable fantasy option while he is the clear backup to Dillon Dingler. Through 123 total plate appearances, the 30-year-old is now slashing .200/.295/.362 with 18 RBI and 14 runs scored.

Carter Jensen C | KC
Royals' Carter Jensen: Set for September call-up
The Royals are expected to call up Jensen from Triple-A Omaha prior to Tuesday's series opener versus the Angels.
Jensen is arguably the Royals' top prospect and has thrived in his first stint at Triple-A this season, posting a .288/.404/.647 slash line with 14 home runs and three stolen bases over 43 games. The Royals may look to limit the left-handed-hitting Jensen's exposure to southpaws initially, but he could be in store for at least semi-regular playing time versus right-handed pitching while moving between catcher and designated hitter.

Orioles' Caden Bodine: Out with bruised hand
Single-A Delmarva placed Bodine on the 7-day injured list Saturday due to a bruised left hand, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
While Bodine's injury isn't significant, it will spell an end to his first professional season. The No. 30 overall selection in June's First-Year Player Draft, Bodine slashed .326/.408/.349 over 49 plate appearances for Delmarva.
