Briceno (wrist) was activated from the 60-day injured list at Double-A Erie on Friday, Emily Waldon of Baseball America reports.

Briceno had surgery to repair a tendon in his right wrist back in March and began a rehab assignment late last month. The Tigers' top catching prospect, Briceno slashed .266/.383/.500 with 20 homers, 76 RBI, 60 runs scored and a 66:87 BB:K across 441 trips to the plate between High-A and Double-A as a 20-year-old last season.

Oliveto (toe) has gone 3-for-13 with a triple, five walks, two RBI and two runs in five games since being assigned to the rookie-level Florida Complex League after being reinstated from Single-A Lakeland's injured list.

Oliveto had already been on a rehab assignment in the FCL prior to being activated from the IL, going 8-for-37 (.216 average) with an 8:6 BB:K over 12 games. The 19-year-old catcher has shown a discerning eye at the plate through 17 total FCL games with a 20.6 percent walk rate across 63 plate appearances. He could get the chance to debut for Lakeland later on this season.

The Athletics optioned Serven to Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday, Jason Burke of Roundtable.io reports.

After coming up from Triple-A to bolster the Athletics' bench depth for the final weekend before the All-Star break, Serven will now return to Las Vegas to begin the second half. The 31-year-old backstop is likely to spend most of what's left of the season in the minors, where he's slashing .308/.403/.525 across 236 plate appearances.

Campero (hand) will begin a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Monday.

Campero posted a .618 OPS in 28 games with the Angels in 2025, but he had played exclusively in the minors this season before he was called up from Triple-A Salt Lake on June 6 and subsequently placed on the 60-day injured list due to a fractured right hand. He'll likely need an extended rehab assignment to get his timing back at the plate, but once Camepero is activated, expect the Angels to option him to Triple-A.

Double-A Chesapeake placed Anderson on its 7-day injured list Tuesday due to a left ankle injury, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Anderson sustained the injury Sunday before landing on the IL two days later. The catching prospect had produced a .271/.371/.522 slash line with 17 home runs and five stolen bases across 287 plate appearances for Chesapeake this season before being deactivated.

Langeliers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-1 loss to the White Sox.

Langeliers accounted for Oakland's only run of the afternoon, taking Noah Schultz deep in the first inning for his 21st home run of the season. The catcher has cooled off to begin July, batting 5-for-27 (.185) with a 43 percent strikeout rate through his first eight games of the month. He heads into the All-Star break slashing .257/.324/.483 on the season.

Higashioka went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Astros.

Higashioka went yard in the eighth inning, tying the game at 5-5 a half-inning after the Astros had pulled ahead. Higashioka has started three of the last four games behind the dish for the Rangers, perhaps suggesting he's clawing back some playing time from Elias Diaz. Higashioka is batting .220 with a .670 OPS, seven homers, 17 RBI, 19 runs scored, three doubles and no stolen bases over 177 plate appearances.

Kirk is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Kirk will get a day off for the final game of the first half after starting the previous three contests and going 4-for-12 with a walk, two doubles and two RBI in that span. Brandon Valenzuela will step in behind the plate to catch right-hander Kevin Gausman on Sunday.

Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Diaz will head to the bench for the third time in four games while the Rangers go with Kyle Higashioka behind the dish. Though he appeared to have supplanted Higashioka as the Rangers' preferred catcher while Danny Jansen (forearm) remains on the shelf, Diaz may have faded into a timeshare after going 3-for-19 (.158) with a 0:4 BB:K over his last six starts.

Caratini is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

On the bench for the third time in four games, Caratini has faded back into the No. 2 role at catcher following Ryan Jeffers' recent return from the injured list. While Jeffers was on the shelf, Caratini produced admirably in his stead, slashing .281/.361/.491 with six home runs, 19 RBI and 15 runs over 34 games.
