Walls went 2-for-3 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Blue Jays.

Walls took Jordan Romano yard in the final inning to tally his fifth home run of the season. He hit just .188 with one home run, five RBI, 11 runs scored and one stolen base across 81 plate appearances in July. Despite the struggles, Walls has remained the team's primary shortstop, though Yu Chang has replaced him in the lineup for three of the team's last seven games.

Suarez went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Yankees.

Suarez hit a two-run blast in the first inning that scored Jesse Winker, then came around to score on a Carlos Santana double in the fifth. This was Suarez's 17th home run of the season and his first since July 13. The third baseman is on a four-game hit streak, with Tuesday's outing being his first multi-hit performance since July 8. Suarez now has a .234 batting average after hitting .202 in 2020 and .198 in 2021.

Urias went 0-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Rangers.

Urias was plunked by Spencer Howard in the third inning. The 28-year-old infielder followed that up by stealing second and scoring on Jorge Mateo's three-run home run. After a July surge at the plate, it appears Urias is returning to Earth -- he's gone 1-for-23 with three walks over his last seven games. He has a .248/.298/.429 slash line with 11 home runs, 36 RBI, 34 runs scored and a steal in 73 contests.

Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional RBI in a 2-1 win against Houston on Tuesday.

Returning from a 10-game absence due to a hamstring injury, Devers was responsible for both of Boston's runs with an RBI double in the fourth inning and what proved to be the game-winning solo home run in sixth. The 25-year-old slashed .300/.327/.660 across 13 July games and was able to carry over that performance to his first August contest. Through 88 games this season, Devers is slashing .326/.380/.612 with 23 home runs, 63 runs and 57 RBI.

Arenado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Cubs.

Arenado has homered in two of his last three games and he's up to 20 long balls this season. His seventh-inning blast Tuesday supplied the Cardinals with an insurance run. The third baseman has three multi-hit efforts in his last seven games, and he's slashing .292/.359/.532 with 61 RBI, 46 runs scored and two stolen bases in 95 contests this year.

The Cubs reinstated Madrigal (groin) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Madrigal missed nearly two months of action with his injury, but he's ready to resume playing for the big club. Madrigal hit .385 over his last seven rehab games, though because the Cubs have numerous options at second base, it's unclear what role he will fill in the short term. Zach McKinstry will get the nod at the keystone Tuesday versus the Cardinals.

Devers (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports.

The 25-year-old has been sidelined by the hamstring injury since July 23, and he'll rejoin the active roster Tuesday after spending the 10-day minimum on the shelf. Devers hit .300/.327/.660 with five home runs and 10 RBI in 13 games during July before going down with the injury. The Red Sox have yet to release their official lineup for Tuesday's matchup with Houston, but he'll presumably be in the starting nine.

Burger (hand) was activated from the injured list and optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday.

Burger owns a .760 OPS at the big-league level this season, but with the White Sox almost fully healthy, he will head to the minors for the time being. Expect him to rejoin the big club before the campaign comes to a close.

Toro will start at second base and bat ninth in Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

With Julio Rodriguez (wrist) and Dylan Moore (back) recently heading to the injured list, Adam Frazier has been picking up more work in the outfield of late. Frazier's presence in the outfield has opened up the keystone for Toro, who will occupy the position for the third game in a row. Toro, who went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 7-2 loss, will likely be in danger of moving into a reserve role as soon as the Mariners get one of Rodriguez, Moore, Mitch Haniger (ankle) or Ty France (wrist) back in the lineup.

Phillies manager Rob Thomson said that Segura (finger) will likely be activated from the 60-day injured list Thursday, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Segura went 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base while starting at second base Tuesday in what is expected to be his final rehab game at Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Altogether, Segura batted just .192 during his seven-game rehab assignment, but more importantly, he avoided any setbacks with his surgically repaired right index finger. Expect Segura to settle back into an everyday role at second base once activated Thursday, leaving rookie Bryson Stott and veteran Didi Gregorius to vie for playing time at shortstop.
