Kieboom went 5-for-7 with a double, three home runs, four runs scored and five RBI in Low-A Hagerstown's 22-4 rout of Lexington on Sunday.

On the same day the major-league squad was crushing the Mets, its Low-A affiliate was setting a new Sally League record by banging out 30 hits in a game, with Kieboom leading the way. The Nats' No. 5 prospect is hitting an impressive .333/.413/.580 through 21 games for Hagerstown, and the 19-year-old may not be long for the level if he keeps raking. Kieboom's ability to hit for power was the biggest question mark in his profile when he was drafted, but so far in 2017 he seems to be putting those doubts to rest.

Bregman returned to the lineup Monday after getting a day off Sunday. He went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Houston's 6-2 win over Texas.

Bregman batted eighth Monday after he was dropped to ninth in his previous game. The young third baseman has hit safely in 10 of the last 11 games but has just two RBI during that run and has recently found himself in the lower third of the batting order.

Longoria is not in the lineup Monday against the Marlins because his left foot is bothering him, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The specifics of the injury aren't yet known, though it doesn't appear to be overly serious, as Longoria said he's still hoping to play Tuesday. Longoria said the ailment is similar to the plantar fasciitis in his right foot that hobbled him during the 2013 season, so the Rays may want to take a cautious approach with the 31-year-old. He should be considered day-to-day until the Rays release more on his status.

Longoria is not in the lineup Monday against the Marlins, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Longoria will head to the bench for just the first time all season as Daniel Robertson takes over at the hot corner. The 31-year-old is off to an unremarkable start to the season, slashing just .208/.296/.376 with four homers and 13 RBI through 26 games.

Suarez is not in the lineup Monday against the Pirates.

Suarez will head to the bench to take a breather after starting each of the last 10 games for the Reds. Scooter Gennett will take over at third base in his stead.

Donaldson (calf) is not expected to return from the disabled list during the Jays' upcoming six-game road trip, Laura Armstrong of the Toronto Star reports.

The star third baseman took batting practice at the Rogers Centre on Sunday, then left for the organization's training facility in Dunedin to continue his rehab assignment. There's no set date for Donaldson's return, but he certainly appears to be moving in the right direction.

Ramirez wrapped up April with a .330/.388/.593 slash line, six home runs, 21 RBI and 13 runs over 103 plate appearances.

If anyone thought last year was a bit fluky, Ramirez wasted no time proving those doubters wrong in 2017. He'll enter May ranked in the AL's top 10 for batting average, home runs, RBI, slugging percentage and OPS. The third baseman is squaring the ball up (36.5 percent hard-hit rate and .276 ISO) like never before. Ramirez's 176 wRC+ is eighth in the AL, just behind Oakland slugger Khris Davis. If there's an early-season knock to be made on the 24-year-old, it would have to be his sluggishness on the bases. After going 22-for-29 in stolen-base attempts in 2016, Ramirez is just 2-for-4 so far this year. However, most owners would be glad to sacrifice stolen bases for the type of plate production he's provided thus far.

Moustakas hit .271/.303/.553 with seven home runs, 11 RBI and 12 runs over 89 plate appearances in the season's opening month.

Moustakas' seven bombs are tied for tops among MLB third basemen. His batting average and OPS rank third and fourth, respectively, among those at his position in the AL. His strikeout rate (20.2) is up from previous years, but for the second consecutive campaign, Moustakas is near the 40 percent mark for hard contact. The 28-year-old has also shown a greater tendency to put the ball in the air, and if that sticks around, Moustakas could certainly challenge his career-high home run tally (22) from 2015.

Machado wrapped up the opening month of the season slashing .224/.343/.424 with four home runs, 13 RBI and 10 runs over 85 at-bats.

The slugger fell way short of last April's .344/.394/.667 line. In many regards, Machado's first month of 2017 was worse than any other in his career. That said, he began showing signs of life as April waned away. In his last four games, the 24-year-old has gone 6-for-16 with a home run, two doubles, three RBI and five runs. He's also reached base safely in 11 consecutive contests. It's a safe bet to assume May will provide more Machado-like numbers.

Rendon went 6-for-6 with three home runs and 10 RBI in Sunday's win over the Mets.

It was an absolute performance for the ages by Rendon, whose 10 RBI on the day set a new Nationals record. In addition to driving in 10, his three-home-run performance was his first multi-homer game of his big-league career. Rendon's game on Sunday will be a strong candidate all year for the best single-game performance by any major-league player this season.
