Moncada (knee) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Moncada suffered a right knee contusion after a collision with Willy Garcia on Monday, and while he appears to have avoided a more serious injury, the White Sox will continue to proceed cautiously with their top prospect. He was unable to walk off the field under his own control following the collision, so even though the injury isn't expected to force him onto the DL, he'll likely get a few days off. In the meantime, Yolmer Sanchez is expected to fill in at second base.

Valencia went 1-for-4 with an RBI single and a run in Monday's 6-4 win over the Rangers.

Valencia's fourth-inning hit to left was officially scored as a single, but he finished the play on third after Drew Robinson allowed the ball to slip under his glove and roll to the wall. Despite hitting just .238 in July, Valencia wrapped up the month hitting safely in seven of his last nine games. All were one-hit efforts and he only tallied one extra-base hit during that stretch.

Reyes (finger) was assigned to the Orioles' rookie team in the Gulf Coast League for a rehab assignment.

Reyes broke his finger after punching a wall in mid-May. Considering he's returned to live action within the initial timeline, it's safe to say he had a smooth recovery. He'll log a few games in the GCL before returning to man third base for High-A Frederick.

Devers went 4-for-4 with a double and an RBI during Monday's win over Cleveland.

Devers was moved up three spots in the batting order, from ninth to sixth, a decision fueled in part by his 1.041 OPS over five games in the majors. After Monday's breakout, the rookie is now 10-for-24 with a 1.231 OPS through the first six games of his career. Devers is worth a look in the majority of fantasy settings, but expectations should probably remain in check. There are likely to be peaks and valleys at the dish moving forward.

However, he apparently managed to escape without any broken bones or torn ligaments. Expect him to need a few days off, but it looks like Moncada should avoid landing on the DL.

The injury was serious enough that Moncada was unable to place any weight on his right leg and a cart was needed to carry him off. Moncada's knee appeared to strike Garcia's head at full speed, so the question will be whether the joint suffered any structural damage. Expect an MRI or X-rays to answer that question soon; for now, consider him day-to-day

Urshela is out of the lineup Monday against the Red Sox.

Though they play different positions, Urshela and Erik Gonzalez have essentially been working in a timeshare since Jason Kipnis (hamstring) went on the disabled list, with All-Star Jose Ramirez covering second or third base to accommodate the other player in the lineup. It will be Gonzalez's turn to play Monday after Urshela started three of the previous four games. Kipnis is currently in the midst of a rehab assignment with Triple-A Columbus, so it won't be long before both Urshela and Gonzalez see their quantity of at-bats take a drastic downturn.

Rendon is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.

Adrian Sanchez will take over at third base and bat eighth against right-hander Jose Urena. Until there's something to suggest otherwise, this should be considered a routine day off for Rendon following 19 consecutive starts. Rendon got off to a bit of a slow start this season, but he's been one of the best hitters in baseball since the beginning of May (.331/.443/.645 with 18 homers and a 48:36 BB:K in his last 73 games).

Vargas has been sidelined since July 23 with a hand injury, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Vargas was an option to temporarily fill in for Chris Owings (finger) and Ketel Marte (personal) at shortstop, but the 26-year-old is apparently dealing with an issue of his own. It's still unclear how much longer the ailment will keep him sidelined, but he hasn't been placed on the minor-league disabled list, so it appears the Diamondbacks are hoping he'll be back sooner rather than later.

Devers went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Royals.

Devers went opposite field with a homer that was originally ruled a double off the left-field wall. A replay review confirmed the ball landed above the red line at the top of the wall and bounced back onto the field off the protective wall in front of the seats atop the Green Monster. It was his first career homer at Fenway Park. The rookie has been in the lineup for every game since the arrival of Eduardo Nunez, which came with speculation about its impact on Devers' playing time.
