Devers is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against Baltimore, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Devers will head to the bench after going 0-for-5 with a walk and one RBI during Friday's victory. In his place, Eduardo Nunez will man third base and bat seventh. Look for Devers to rejoin the starting lineup in Game 2.

Longoria is dealing with a back contusion after getting struck by a Kyle Crick fastball during Friday's contest, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

This incident occurred in the bottom of the seventh inning, and though Longoria remained in the game and scored on an Alen Hanson double, he was removed prior to the top of the eighth. Manager Bruce Bochy said that Longoria "should be okay," so consider him day-to-day ahead of Saturday's tilt. Longoria added that he's "confident there's nothing seriously wrong," but he will test the back out during a pregame workout Saturday.

Moncada, who was dropped from leadoff to eighth in the batting order, went 1-for-2 with a double, a walk and a strikeout in a 1-0 win over the Indians on Friday.

Moncada typically leads off against right-handed starters but was dropped to eighth Friday against Cleveland righty Shane Bieber. It marked the lowest spot in the order since he was called up last season. Manager Rick Renteria told Tom Musick of the Chicago Sun-Times that he's trying to take some of the pressure off the young second baseman, who has a 37.4 strikeout percentage since the All-Star break and is hitting just .219. The manager wants to see Moncada become less selective and drive hittable pitches he often lets pass.

Chapman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Oakland's 4-3 defeat to the Angels on Friday.

Chapman was able to extend his recent hitting streak to eight games with this two-hit performance that saw him tag Angels starter Felix Pena with his 16th homer of the season in the first inning. The 25-year-old is having a terrific overall season at the plate, as he's now slashing .273/.361/.501 through 363 at-bats.

Muncy went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a pair of doubles in the Dodgers' 5-4 loss to the Rockies on Friday.

Muncy had been in a slump coming off the All-Star break, but he's gotten back to his power-hitting ways with a pinch-hit home run on Thursday that he followed up with this three-hit effort that included his 26th long ball of the season. Even with his recent mini-lull, Muncy is still boasting a fabulous .262/.386/.590 slash line through 290 at-bats, and the pair of long balls over the past couple of days could be a sign that he's gearing up for another tear like the one that saw him become one of the hottest hitters in baseball earlier this season.

LeMahieu went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Colorado's 5-4 victory over the Dodgers on Friday.

It was the first long ball and second multi-hit effort in nine games for LeMahieu since he returned to lineup from an oblique injury, and he now has nine homers on the season. The 30-year-old infielder has a .738 OPS through 339 at-bats, which puts him slightly behind his career mark of .754. However, he's capable of putting together lengthy hot streaks, so if he starts collecting hits at his customary rate LeMahieu should see his .271 average climb back toward his career number of .298.

Segura had X-rays on his hand after getting hit by a pitch Friday against the Astros, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Segura was hit in the eighth inning but did not leave the game. He appears to have avoided a serious injury but is considered day-to-day.

Arenado left Friday's contest against the Dodgers after tweaking his shoulder, Manny Randhawa of MLB.com reports.

The third baseman suffered the injury while turning a 3-5-3 double play. The severity of the injury is not yet clear, though he was reportedly removed for precautionary reasons, which suggests that the Rockies don't currently expect the issue to be a serious one.

Machado is not in the lineup against Colorado on Friday, Andy McCullough of The Los Angeles Times reports.

Machado will get a day off for the first time since coming over to Los Angeles. Since becoming a Dodger, he's slashed .280/.366/.427 with two home runs, five RBI and 25 strikeouts in 20 games. In his place, Chris Taylor will start at shortstop and bat sixth.

Segura went 3-for-5 with an RBI ground-rule double, a solo home run and two runs in a win over the Astros on Thursday.

Segura was part of a Mariners' barrage of offense against Justin Verlander over the first two innings, with his ninth homer of the season capping off a six-run attack to open the game. A rare day off last Tuesday against the Rangers seems to have agreed with Segura, who's gone 4-for-9 with a double, Thursday's round tripper, four RBI, a walk and four runs in the subsequent two games. The surge in production has helped put the 3-for-27 slump he opened August with firmly in the rear view mirror.
