Machado went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Saturday's extra-innings win over the Padres.

Machado staked Clayton Kershaw a 3-0 first-inning lead but Kenley Jansen blew the save to force extra innings. The 26-year-old shortstop got off to an electric start with the Dodgers but is slashing .258/.320/.449 with 20 strikeouts in 89 August at-bats. Chapman went 3-for-4 with a walk in a win over the Twins on Saturday.

Following a three-run home run Friday, Chapman rapped out his second multi-hit effort over the last three games Saturday. Chapman has now hit safely in seven straight games, and in 20 of 21 August contests overall. The outstanding offensive month has pushed his season line to an impressive .278/.364/.508, complementing his Gold Glove-caliber defense at the hot corner perfectly.

Segura went 2-for-4 with a double, two walks, a stolen base and a run in an extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

A minor rib injury that led to Segura's early exit from Wednesday's game against the Astros has done nothing to cool off his scalding-hot bat. The shortstop is hitting .458 (11-for-24) with two RBI, three walks and two runs over his last six games, and he's now racked up eight multi-hit efforts overall in August.

Duffy went 2-for-4 with a walk and a run in a win over the Red Sox on Saturday.

Duffy's overall production in August points toward a second consecutive underwhelming month at the plate, but he's picking it up offensively over the last four games. The 27-year-old has gone 7-for-17 with an RBI, three walks, a stolen base and three runs over that stretch, boosting his August on-base percentage to .348 in the process. Duffy is slashing an impressive .296/.354/.369 for the season as well, so he's still rewarding fantasy owners despite slowing down to an extent after a red-hot first three months of the campaign.

Donaldson (calf) will report to High-A Dunedin during the upcoming week and could appear in a rehab game as soon as Tuesday, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

The third baseman has been sidelined since late May with the calf strain, but finally seems to have made enough progress in his recovery over the past few weeks to test his health in games. Because of the extended nature of his absence, Donaldson will likely require several games to pick up at-bats and get comfortable in the field again before his activation will be considered. In addition to the Blue Jays, Donaldson's performance during the rehab assignment figures to be of interest to several teams around the league, who could look to acquire the soon-to-be free agent prior to the Aug. 31 waiver deadline if his calf doesn't present any issues.

LeMahieu went 2-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored against the Cardinals on Saturday.

LeMahieu led off an eight-run eighth inning with a single, and he came around to score on an RBI double by Carlos Gonzalez. He has been on a nice run at the plate of late, smacking two home runs, driving in six and scoring six runs across his last 10 games.

Escobar went 1-for-5 with a solo home run against the Mariners on Saturday.

Escobar took Wade LeBlanc deep in the first inning to record his 19th home run of the season and fourth as a Diamondback. While he has slumped a bit of late -- he has only two RBI in his last 10 starts -- his numbers since shifting to the National League are nearly identical to his time with the Twins. That provides little reason to panic about Escobar's brief slump, especially when considering he is nearly certain to set new career-best marks in every major hitting statistic this season.

Anderson launched a two-run pinch-hit home run Saturday against the Braves.

Anderson entered the game in the seventh inning and launched his 10th home run of the season, taking Chad Sobotka deep. The long ball marked his first since July 30. While he has produced relatively consistently throughout the season, Anderson has only five RBI and seven runs scored to go along with a .238 average in 80 August at-bats.

Segura (ribs) went 1-for-3 with a single, a walk and a stolen base in a win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Segura was back in the lineup against one of his old squads after tweaking his rib cage Wednesday and extended a stretch of hot hitting. The shortstop has accumulated 20 of his 23 August hits over the last 12 games, bouncing back from his most underwhelming month of the season.

Anderson is not starting Saturday against the Braves, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Anderson sits after starting 10 straight games, a stretch in which he hit just .225 with a .576 OPS. Miguel Rojas will start at third base.
