Moncada went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Friday's 7-3 win over the Tigers.

The 23-year-old is on a tear, hitting .325 (13-for-40) over his last 10 games with four of his six homers on the season, as well as two steals, eight runs and seven RBI. Moncada's strikeout rate is down significantly so far in 2019, and that extra contact could be spurring him towards a long-awaited breakout campaign.

Segura (hamstring) remains out of action Friday against the Rockies, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Segura was reportedly expected to miss 3-to-4 days after straining his hamstring Tuesday. That makes Friday's absence no surprise and points towards a possible Saturday return. Scott Kingery starts at shortstop in his absence.

Duffy (hamstring/back) has resumed most baseball activities but has still made "minimal" progress during the few days, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The fact Duffy is now back to apparently participating in baseball activities is certainly a positive, but his overall progress is still moving along at a modest pace. A return at some point in May appears to still be the target for Duffy, with the possibility his injured-list stint persists even longer.

McMahon went 3-for-4 with a pair of homers, two runs and five RBI to help the Rockies to a 6-2 victory over the Phillies on Thursday.

Making his first start after getting activated from the injured list with an elbow injury, McMahon provided most of the offense for Colorado in this game with this monster, two-homer, five-RBI effort. He boosted his slash line to a healthy .276/.364/.552 with the performance, and with Daniel Murphy (finger) still without a timetable for a return, McMahon is in line to continue to see regular work for the time being.

Muncy went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a double and a walk in Thursday's win over Milwaukee.

Muncy launched a two-run blast to left center in the sixth inning to give the Dodgers a 3-0 cushion, and that's all the offense they'd need to secure the victory. The 28-year-old continues to play up to expectations, and he's now batting .270 with five homers and 14 RBI over 20 games this season.

Segura (hamstring) is not in the lineup Thursday against the Rockies, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Segura tested out his hamstring prior to Thursday's series opener but didn't feel well enough to rejoin the starting lineup. This isn't overly surprising, as the shortstop said he initially expected to miss 3-to-4 days after suffering the injury Tuesday. Manager Gabe Kapler added that Segura could be out "the next couple days," per Breen, though there has been no indication that he will require an IL stint. Scott Kingery will continue to start at shortstop until Segura is ready to return.

Moustakas is not in the lineup Thursday against the Dodgers.

Moustakas will hit the bench for just the second time all season; he's started the past 10 games for the Brewers, slashing .278/.395/.667 with four homers and a 7:9 BB:K over that stretch. Hernan Perez will start at the keystone and hit seventh in this one.

McMahon (elbow) was activated from the 10-day injured list Thursday.

As expected, McMahon is back with the big club after a brief stay on the shelf with an elbow sprain. The 24-year-old apparently looked healthy during an extended spring training game earlier in the week and should immediately reclaim his role on the strong side of a platoon. Prior to landing on the shelf, McMahon was slashing .200/.310/.240 with a home run through seven games. Josh Fuentes was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move.

Chapman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Astros on Wednesday.

Chapman's 441-foot bomb to left center in the sixth snapped a 1-1 tie and ultimately proved the difference in the game. The power-hitting shortstop has compiled half of his six homers on the season in the last six games, a span during which he's also driven in seven of his 13 runs.

Moncada (head) will start at third base and bat second Thursday against the Tigers, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Moncada was removed from Wednesday's series finale with the Royals shortly after being struck in the left side of the head by an errant throw in the fifth inning. His removal was merely precautionary, as Moncada passed all concussion tests and reported only minor dizziness and a headache after the hit to the helmet. Moncada told Scott Merkin of MLB.com he felt "much better" after waking up Thursday morning, so he'll be free to fill his usual everyday duties for the White Sox moving forward.
