Robinson (elbow) had a partial Tommy John surgery on his left elbow Thursday, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Robinson was put on the injured list at Triple-A Memphis back on June 26 with the injury, and Thursday's surgery was considered just a partial repair of the elbow. That puts Robinson on a timeline to likely return by the beginning of spring training. The fact that Robinson throws right-handed even though he hits left-handed should help with a speedier recovery time than that usually associated with a full Tommy John surgery as well. Robinson spent five games at the big-league level this past season, but the majority of his time (55 games) was logged with the Redbirds, for which he slashed .265/.385/.423 over 234 plate appearances.

Longoria is not in Sunday's lineup against the Diamondbacks.

He is hitting .320 with two home runs in 50 at-bats this month. Donovan Solano will start at third base and hit eighth in his stead.

Machado went 2-for-5 with a double Saturday in the Padres' 5-3 win over the Phillies.

The multi-hit effort was Machado's first since Aug. 4, ending a 4-for-39 skid over the Padres' 10 games in between. Machado has yet to slug a home run in August and has supplied a lowly .664 OPS since mashing three home runs in the Padres' first two games out of the All-Star break.

Davis (calf) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Royals. He is available off the bench, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

He has been dealing with right calf tightness since Thursday. Aaron Altherr will start in left field and hit eighth. The Mets have an off day Monday, so perhaps that will give Davis enough time to get right for a three-game series against the Indians.

Muncy is not in Sunday's lineup against the Braves, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

The Dodgers now have two healthy right-handed hitters (Jedd Gyorko and Kris Negron) who play Muncy's positions, so he may sit occasionally against lefties going forward. Even so, he does not have significant splits, and when he sits, it's more about getting other hitters into the lineup than any weaknesses in Muncy's game.

Ramirez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

Ramirez isn't believed to have sustained an injury coming out of Saturday's 6-5 loss, so he'll likely just be getting a maintenance day as he checks out of the lineup for the first time since July 29. Mike Freeman will fill at third base for Ramirez, who is batting a scorching .328/.380/.750 through 17 games in August.

Suarez (thumb) will start at third base and bat third Sunday against the Cardinals, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Suarez sprained his left thumb in Friday's 13-4 loss, relegating him to the bench for Saturday's 6-1 win. The day of rest apparently was all Suarez needed to overcome the injury, as he'll check back into his normal spot in the field and lineup in the series finale.

Moncada (hamstring) went a combined 3-for-7 with a home run and two RBI in a doubleheader for Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.

Moncada started at third base in the opener, then moved to designated hitter for the nightcap, playing every inning in both ends of the twin bill. He's now played three games in two days while on a rehab assignment, which suggests he could rejoin the White Sox in Minnesota for a series against the Twins that kicks off Monday.

Chapman went 3-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI, two runs and a walk during an 8-4 victory over the Astros on Saturday.

The 26-year-old wasn't able to smack another homer, but he did record three hits for the second time in the weekend series against the Astros. He has five extra-base hits in the first three contests of the four-game set. Chapman is batting .263 with 29 home runs, 70 RBI and 79 runs in 449 at-bats this season.

Donaldson went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Dodgers.

The 33-year-old is putting together a huge August, slashing .352/.493/.648 with four homers and eight RBI though 16 games. Donaldson is now one home run shy of his fourth career 30-HR campaign, and three extra-base hits short of slugging 60 for the fifth time.
